Actually purchased these for myself, 5'2 size 8. Had previously bought some for my children for hiking and was really impressed with the quality and durability. I struggle to find ladies hiking Wear that isn't too long, too big or just not durable, so I tried on my son's 10/11 size, fitted nice but just needed a tiny bit of extra length so settled on the 12/13 and then bought some more in different colours! So comfy for hiking, happy Mum!The ones I purchased for my children were perhaps erring on the big side. The 10/11 fit my 10 year old (just below 50th centile) with plenty of room and an inch or so in length to go. Hes around 135cm tall. Fortunately the elastic waist bands go small enough to keep them up but will allow expansion as they grow. My 8 year old who's small for his age (below 25th centile) and around 120cm tall found the 8/9 far too big everywhere, so we purchased another pair in 6/7 which are perfect. Will re buy these and get some more in other colours too.Wash and wear really well!
