This O’Keeffe’s lip balm is a lifesaver. I’ve tried countless lip balms over the years, but nothing works as quickly or effectively for extremely dry, cracked lips. Within a day or two of use, my lips felt softer, smoother, and completely protected. The added SPF 35 is a huge plus, especially for being outdoors — it’s nice knowing my lips are protected from sun damage while also being moisturized. The stick is sturdy, applies smoothly, and lasts for hours without needing constant reapplication. Having it in a 3-pack is perfect, since I keep one in my bag, one in the car, and one at home. Truly the best lip balm I’ve ever used.

What I love about this product is that for me, it's the perfect spf lip balm. It has a slight scent, but not overpowering, fruity, or perfumy. It's not flavored, and it's not too slippy. It stays on for a long time, longer than of all the other spf lipbalms I own, and I own practically all of them. Better than the Carmex spf stick and spf 35 Sun Bum, two of my favorites. Stays on longer than Coola, a more expensive product, which was ranked highest on NYTimes Wirecutter. I like OKeefe's products in general because they simply do what they say they're going to do, without costing too much. I find this brand reliable and unpretentious.

I’ve been buying this balm for years. Having tried numerous SPF balms over the years, this is what I keep coming back to. It’s simply the best. Both moisturizing and has sun protection. I just it day and night. Unlike similar balms, there’s no drying affect once applied.

I’ve been using O’Keeffe’s Lip Repair SPF 35 for a while now, and it’s easily one of the better lip balms I’ve tried for seriously dry, cracked lips. First thing I noticed is that it’s not flashy. No strong scent, no artificial flavor, no glossy shine. It just feels straightforward and functional. The stick is a little firmer than most balms at first, but that actually makes it better in my opinion. It doesn’t melt, smear, or get messy, especially in heat. Once it warms up on your lips, it goes on smooth and even. Relief was pretty quick. My lips tend to get dry and split easily, and within a day or two they felt less tight and irritated. After about a week of consistent use, the rough patches were noticeably better and the cracks were healing instead of reopening. It creates a protective layer without feeling greasy or heavy. The SPF 35 is a big plus. A lot of lip balms skip sun protection, and that’s usually part of why lips keep getting damaged. This one holds up well outside and doesn’t leave that white sunscreen look. It just looks natural. It also lasts longer than most basic balms. I’m not constantly reapplying every 20 minutes. And having a pack of six makes it easy to keep one in different places so I’m not hunting for it. If you’re looking for something flavored or shiny, this isn’t that. It’s more practical than cosmetic. But if your lips are genuinely dry, cracked, or sun-exposed and you want something that actually works, this has been solid for me.

We recently switched from Burt's Bees to this brand and it is so much better! The SPF version especially is great for us as we live in a place that gets a lot of sun in the summer months. Initially we bought this for a Mexican beach vacation but now use it every day. It feels wonderful on and protects our lips at the same time. We have also tried the regular and cool versions. All are great but the SPF version we like because it also protects from the sun. I haven't seen these sold in stores where we live but hopefully they catch on more! They are pricey compared to the other brands but worth it!

I've been trying to find a chapstick that lasts amd doesnt have the nasty spf flavor. So happy i found these.

I have been using this lip balm for years. It’s the only one I use. Not sticky or greasy. Stays on a long time. I highly recommend O’Keefe’s lip repair.

The product is amazing. My lips are very sensitive to sun. I use it regularly (each 2 hours) and it really protected and healed/softened my lips. This us my second purchase, except for rhe fact that the supplier didn't deliver! I am reordering again as I am desperate for it.

But too small for such a price!!

I'm not sure how affective the SPF actually is, as I never really go into the sun and just use it to prevent as much exposure to UVA as possible, but I'm sure it's legitimate and am just grateful to have found something that does not immediately make me want to bite my mouth off.
