We bought this so we can open the front door and let the fresh cool air come in without the bugs. This will keep the smallest gnats out too. If you keep it tight at the bottom, which is easy to do if you install it right and get the right size, it will keep out the unwanted little furry creatures as well. The key is to take careful measurements, decide where you want to put the velcro strip while you are measuring the doorway and then buy the right size. Secondly, take your time installing it to make sure you can keep it tight. I think its actually better than the average screen door for several reasons. First of all, there is no "slam" of a screen door when the grandchildren are in and out every 5 minutes. Secondly, you can easily pass through while your hands are full- plate, coffee, Bible, newspaper, garbage bag, whatever. Third, it quickly sweeps closed behind you minimizing the opportunity for an insect to fly in. Fourth, in the winter months you can simply take it down and put it away and you are not having to deal with nuisance of a screen door throughout the winter months while you are carrying in arm loads of firewood. Great idea. I should be a salesman!

I bought a new house and the previous owners left this on the balcony. I ended up ordering one for the back porch. Our dogs love having the back door open to go outside as they please. It wasn’t an option for us to install a doggie door so when the owners left one, we decided we needed one for the back door. I recommend this and would rebuy in the future. Many people have come to our house and have went and bought after seeing ours.

Very good product to use on double door. Material is very durable. Been using it for almost two years now and has been standing North America weather like anything. Just keep in mind if you are using only one of the double doors then make sure that you dont position in the middle. Thank me later.

The Magnetic Screen allows us to keep our back door open when the weather is nice, and it allows our three dogs to pass through efficiently and effortlessly. Even with heavy use, the durability of the screen is a great value for the price. I have only replaced it after about two years of daily “dog use”.The magnetic connections work extremely well and last the lifetime of the screen.The key to proper installation is creating a clean surface to attach the velcro base strip. If you have an aluminum door frame, wipe the surface with alcohol or preferably mineral spirits is that it is absolutely clean. If done properly, the base velcro will last through multiple replacements.Overall, the magnetic screen offers a clean look and provides easy access for people and animals while keeping pesky flies and mosquitoes out.

I wasn't sure that this screen would actually function as it is supposed to but I decided to give it a try so that my pup could go in and out without me opening the door every time. I had to use tacks and a few small nails to reinforce it and keep it in place since it was getting a lot of use, but once it was up and tacked in place it worked well. I think it would have lasted a long while also if my pup hadn't torn it up at the bottom. Puppies! :p

I decided after $15K in patio improvements and new French doors that I wasn't too thrilled with spending another $500+ for retractable screens, especially since many reviews indicated issues with tetractables after a few years in the elements. I realized that there wasn't much available between $200 and $500 and all the stuff around $200 from the big box stores had terrible reviews. This is when the contractor doing my work recommended that I look into Magzo. See, the problem is that I live in Central Texas where there are usually only a couple of seasons..... really hot and not quite as hot. There is maybe 6-7 weeks a year when the weather is appropriate to have the doors open to enjoy some fresh air in the house.Back to the Magzo- it arrived promptly. Initially, I wasn't too hip on the idea of this product but the weather was just starting to cool off and I wanted something quickly to allow the doors to be open during the Fall without a nonstop flow of pests getting into the house. I reluctantly stuck the hook and loop tape to the trim around the door frame. The first thing I noticed was that this has to be the stickiest hook and loop tape (not velcro brand) I have ever seen. After removing the screen from the packaging, the amount of creases from being folded in the small package made it tricky to install. I decided to hang it in my hot garage for around 3 days to allow the creases to work their way out of the screen. I stuck the screen to the previously installed tape and it really didn't look too bad. It was still pretty hot (late August) when I installed it and I noticed that after around 3-4 days of fairly active use (still too hot for open doors), the tape had started to detach at the top center due to the Texas heat. So I attempted to use the included tacks.... yeah, not gonna work with Hardi board trim. I stuck the tape back on the trim and decided to get fasteners suitable for use with Hardi board. The weather cooled and the tape hasn't detached again so I will wait until Spring to purchase fasteners to better secure the tape along the top.I was thinking that this was going to be a very temporary and janky solution to my screen problem. Now that I've had it installed and been using it for around 2 months, the wife and I like it. My older dog that needs to go out more frequently is really enjoying letting herself out and back in when the doors are open. In fact, my wife and I like it so much at this point that I will order a few more as backups for when this one wears out. Because we only have maybe 7 weeks of weather where the doors can stay open, I will remove it to keep it from being in the elements and cooking when the doors can't be open. I figure with 2 or 3 more of these, If we can get around 21 weeks of use per screen, we may be able to go a decade without needing to address this issue again. If nothing else, I can buy a bunch of these for what those retractable screens would have cost which would still need additional maintenance and repairs or replacement in the future.I now really like the Magzo screen and will be buying a few more.

They sent the wrong size. It is a Quality product but it was a little too big. We just used it in a different doorway.

In previous years i would use Magic Mesh, but it never stayed up very well, no matter how hard the velcro strips were placed on the metal. Having mobility issues now I needed something that would adher better, and so far this one has been great. It's only been1 month so far, but the other would only last a week or 2 so it is already working better for me.It was longer than needed but I just trimmed it down and so far so good.

Despite the excellent quality and fit of this flyscreen (best that I have seen through my research), I was unable to use this product since an alternate solution was provided by my property manager. I requested to return the product for refund and was refunded immediately. Great and prompt customer service. A++ all around for both the product and store. Thank you.

Installed myself in minutes. Great for my two dogs to come and go. Nice strong magnets close the screen behind them and keep insects out.

Easy install (with 2 people) and works very effectively.The magnets aren't super strong. They got pulled apart by the wind.
