Keeps the yarns separated
I have a number of Savina products. They're usually well made and I like all of them. This is no exception. It's a small but useful piece of wood. The wood has been well sanded, and has no rough spots to snag the yarn. I'm currently working on a fair isle sweater so will get some use out of this little piece.

Crochet & Knitting with Thread ? No Tangles
I bought as I knit and crochet with thread . It spins unless some weight is on it and I thought why not try this management tool for Yarns , embroidery thread so many different possibilities. The weight is perfect for Size 10, 30 Cotton thread for dollies. Crochet would make tangles inevitably without weight this could greatly deter a person from trying a Thread Pattern .

Good idea, but a little instruction manual would help
Knitters and crocheters: Have you ever created anything that required two or maybe more strands of yarn simultaneously, such as an Irish style sweater? (Hand up here!) Have you ever had to undo "spider webs" of the two strands as you work? (Again, hand up here!) This small divider (about thumb size) should help. Just run the strand from each skein into one of the holes in the divider, and the strands should stay untangles. This one is made from very smooth wood, so it shouldn't snag the yarn. There is a warning that the wood may break if it's dropped on a hard surface. However, a small instruction manual demonstrating how this product works and how to use it would be helpful.

Works well
I've never used one of these before this one & im glad I tried it. It's small, nicely made of wood & I can use up to 4 different yarns in a project without them getting twisted up. Very handy. I can hang it up or put the closed end under something heavy to hold it in place which works great. A chunky weight yarn will fit through the holes. It looks nice too. For the price it's well worth it IMO.
