Can it be applied elsewhere besides between the shoulder blade?

I wouldn't. The directions say to apply between shoulder blades most likely b/c in that spot dogs can't lick/ingest it. We have had impressive results using it as directed.

How often must you apply?

One pipette is applied every week for 2 consecutive months. After that 1 pipette is applied every 2 weeks. Do not bathe the pet 2 days before or 2 days after applying. Also, I have found it is absorbed better if applied in multiple sites rather than the entire pipette in one spot.

It is not greasy. It disappears.
