My shoe size is 11.5 and size 10 skates fit perfect. I used to hate inline skates. They ether hurt or gave your feet that tiered feeling immediately. Wouldn't hold up to even the lightest of hockey play. Got my first pair of Bauer High/Lo skates around 1999 and will never waste my time with anything else.
