EUROTOOL Scratch Brush Refills, Fiberglass, 24 Pack | BRS-294.01

I learned about scratch brushes in the military and use them at home all the time. I bought these refills for my Precista and they fit perfectly. I use them to clean electrical connections in all my battery-operated gear at home, on my motorcycle, and in my boat. Clean the connections, dab a little dielectric grease on the metal, and put it all together. I also use it when soldering to get to clean metal. They also do a great job when cleaning up corrosion from leaking batteries. This pack of high quality brushes should last me a year or two at the rate I use them. I can't say enough great things about these brushes.

I bought the expensive scratch brush sold here with "Germany" printed on the side. The included brush wore down to nothing after only a couple uses on a circuit board. This refill pack says "Made in Germany" and fits the brush handle that I purchased. However, the quality of these refills far exceeds the original. The original would break apart and make lots of fiberglass dust quickly. These seem far more durable and I notice way less debris and fiberglass residue when using. I will update review as needed.

I must say that this product is great and better than other products on the market. The bristles are a bit stiffer than other brushes bit works to its advantage because it does hold up to some good scratching. I use the refills for my original Radio Shack scratch tool and it today's time getting German made products is a luxury. The brushes are great for fine work and I use then to polish oxidation from HO locomotives and also to make the tracks nice and shiny before soldering the track work on my layout. This 24 pack will go a long way and I have also used it on some very old coins to remove the grit and get the fine details to surface. Also used it on PCB track work to get the oxidation off so you do not always have to use solder paste or rosin before soldering. Overall a great product, highly recommended for fine and detailing work and will definitely but more in future.

Works great for rock chips on car paint

The pen is small and easy to handle, working on small items. The quality is good (made in Germany) and does a good job cleaning electrical contacts in cameras and clocks.

These fiberglass inserts work in a Prep Pen. I was looking for Prep Pen refills and saw these and took a chance on them. They fit the prep pen just fine. Great product for erasing rust from Metal in prep for finishing/ painting

These are not The same as they were selling before, these are not Coarse at all and are BAD, these are soft and hardly scratch a any surface ,if they change the quality will buy . These are Bad and are Inferior low quality wear out fast breaks in pieces..... those all 5 star reviews are from past item, not now any more.

Very effective at cleaning all manner of intricate and delicate surfaces. My primary use is to clean metal surfaces prior to soldering, but I have also used these to give some ‘tooth’ to smooth plastic and metal surfaces prior to painting. Very effective. Just keep the fiberglass strands away from your skin, eyes, etc., and do not under any circumstances inhale them. I work with the fiberglass brush in one hand and the nozzle of a high quality vacuum in the other to capture the bristles which break off by the thousands.
