Apple Airport Extreme Card

Following an office move, I needed a wireless broadband connection for my old (circa 2003) G5 Applemac. Was lent an Airport Express plug-in gadget which, whilst offering 'wi-fi', did seem rather convoluted since it still had to plug into both a broadband router and a mains socket. This Apple Airport Extreme Card was just the ticket, since it did away with all that and I can now link my ageing G5 directly to the same broadband router (which is in a different room and on a different floor to my computer!). Despite it being a non-Intel chip Mac, it can now continue to serve me well thanks to this card.

I have been very impressed by this piece of equipment since I took delivery of it. More than solving the problem it was well explained and easy to install,exceeding my expectations.

It does all that I required of it. It converts a relatively old but still effective Mac into one with Internet access through wifi, and the card was easy to insert into the works of the computer.

Excellent product - easy to install and works straight out of the box (so to speak) as I would expect of any Apple product.

I needed to get this for Powermac G5, once I had the antenna as well all working, I received it in very quick time. It is very easy to install.

Found one, found one... And works perfectly.
