Japanese Floor Mattress, Japanese Futon Mattress Tatami Mat with Washable Cover, Easy to Store and Portable for Camping,(Black, Queen)

I've had this for probably 2 years or more and it is my go to for camping. I absolutely love it and when we want to have a night out under the stars, we put it in the truck bed and have a nice time. Very comfortable, great quality, and I love that it has a washable cover and a storage bag. Worth the price.

AND buy this mattress. At least try it out! SUPER comfortable and well made. This thing is awesome. Easy to use and makes resting, sleeping, relaxing on like laying on a cloud. At less than a $100 (got a prime coupon for more discounts to boot!!, this puppy rivals most high-end mattresses... WHY you might ask, well, because it's extremely versatile in use, creates no pressure points, sore back, joints sleeping no more, its light weight, thick and will last a lifetime. It's made in Japan with obviously high standards. I tried it on the floor, back of my van and I'm using it on my family room couch when I watch tv. Fit's great. I used it right out of the box, but instructions say give it a couple or 4 days to fully expand. I like value and things being well made, and this mattress is all that and more...As usual, Amazon prime delivers fast (one day, no cost shipping) and with care...Way to Go. Seller and AMAZON!!! These are my and my Pup's observations and opinions for what it's worth.

It was thinner than I expected, but still comfortable, so I am giving the mattress 4 stars for comfort. It rolls up easily and comes with straps to keep it rolled up when put away. It was to cumbersome to put inside the included storage bag, so we didn't really use it [the storage bag].

This mattress is fantastic! Very cozy, and I slept through my alarm for the first time, slobbering all over my pillow. I was concerned that it would not return to shape after reading the reviews for this and comparable memory foam items, but it did. My dad suggested that it be kept in a warm environment, so I hung it in the garage and bought a heater. The width came together quite effortlessly. I let it stay in my room with the blinds up for a day before moving it to the garage for two days. My room is fairly cold, thus it makes sense why it was taking so long to spread. The length and thickness took some time to achieve the aforementioned specifications, but hanging it in the garage with a heater directly on the mattress worked like magic. I put an additional thin topper on it before adding the dust cover and silk sheets. The best decision ever. When purchasing this product, please keep in mind that it is a Japanese futon mattress. Japanese folks are quite minimalistic, so don't anticipate Western European or American comfortability. Trust me when I say that it is quite comfortable. I only sleep on this with a rug underneath. No box spring or anything else. I do plan on getting a rush grass tatami mat to go under as well. I also suggest to the company that they should add keeping it in a warm environment on the packaging. It says keep in sunlight but that wont lead everyone to the steps I took. Pics are .5 so if it looks smaller it’s not.

Really comfortable to sleep on!

Very nice! I bought this two years ago, it's just starting to not feel as comfortable as when it was new. I have been using it to sleep on a second floor apartment's carpeted bedroom floor (flipping and fluffing regularly). I am thinking of buying another one to lay on top of the one I have. Although this brand no longer exist, I do see the same style sold by other merchants.

I have some mixed reviews on this mattress that I recently purchased. I like how lightweight and foldable it is which makes it portable easily. However, I feel the mattress is thinner than what I expected and you can feel the hardness of floor especially if you are used to thicker bedding. Overall, its good to have it as an extra bed, but some extra bit of padding would go a long way in improving its comfort!

The mattress is functional and comfortable for sleeping, but I noticed the thickness feels closer to 2 inches rather than the advertised 4 inches. I’m not sure how they measure it, but it doesn’t seem as thick as expected. That said, it’s still comfortable to sleep on, and I’m happy with the color I chose. It currently has a protector on it, so I haven’t measured the size directly, but the size seems fine to me overall.
