Sennheiser HD 599 - Open Headphones, Special Edition, Black, Wired

Bought them for my husband because I had years ago bought for my son in law and he loved them and still has them so I bought for my husband and he said there so comfy and sound great said one of the best he’s had so well worth buying

These are worth the price of admission. They sound great and you can wear them for extended sessions gaming, working, listening to music, etc. without your ears hurting from the pressure of other headsets. Get them on sale, though as these are Sennheiser and with that name comes the "tax". I chose these over the newer versions strictly for the comfort as I do sometimes have them on for long (ie. 3+ hrs.) periods before my ears start to hurt. The cord length is amazing as it can get from the back of my computer to me and still a lot of slack left over. Quality is premium since it's a name you can count on to produce lovely sound.

What's there to say that hasn't already been said? Plug it in and play. Sennheiser headphones, in my experience, hold up- my last pair survived over 10 years. These sound great. They leak a lot of noise, but that's to be expected with open ear headphones. I just wouldn't depend on them to be something I'd wear for mobile use.

they may not be the "six hunjos" that Dankpods loves to death, but youd be hard pressed to notice the difference at first glance. they are the same quality as all the other Senni cans, and are made to last. and they look great in black. if you are here becasue your 598's finally gave up, the 599's are fine too. otherwise if this is your first set of "high end" cans, then jump in the waters fine.

Love them no need for a long review simple great

honestly amazing headphones, the cord length for either jack and amp cord is really perfect length. they also don’t weigh a lot so they won’t hurt your head. they work very good i use them mostly for gaming and personal they are amazing for gaming, (fps or more peaceful games) they’re good for any games personally. the value is good for how good they are. they also feel not cheap they feel well made. I didn’t like the original cushion they have for the ears so i bought some gel cushions and they make them feel even better. they are also not lying that they cover your whole ear. Love them.

When I bought these headphones I read a review saying that they have good bass response but lack in treble. I TOTALLY agree. A equalizer was suggested in one of the reviews. Again I agree. It really helps balance sound out. They are very comfortable but not as comfortable as an old pair of Sennheiser headphones I used to own back in the day that looked basically like 2 round sponges being held together with a headband. Good sound with the use of an equalizer.

I say again, I love sennheisers, they never let me down on how quality of the sound, the fitting on the head, the weightlessness on your head, the softness on the muffs, I love all of it, my 3rd sennheisers after long periods of usage.. I even bought a cord that has a microphone on it, so I can use it on my pc.. thank you for making an incredible item, I can't bring them on the road though, for the purpose of them not being ruined and broken..
