I love the shape, size and colour but unfortunately, the one I received has a significant discolouration on the inside (visible on the rim even with the lid on). Not sure whether that's product quality or a one-off issue.

I am very happy with this Gaiwan. It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. I use it for drinking fine green tea. It has a beautiful glaze and is well made.

This gaiwan was a risk to buy for me cause there aren't any reviews but the design is so beautiful and I love the finish. This is my first ever gaiwan and I'm learning the one hand gong Fu cha method I rlly love it. It came in perfect condition and its so amazing to use and even just look at. Also super easy to clean compared to yixing clay tea pots which is what I have used prior for gong Fu cha. Im rlly loving how elegant gaiwans are for brewing and even drinking tea from. The water gets the edge hot so I'd say brush off extra water when rubbing the leaves or just spinning the gaiwan to drip the tea soup before letting it sit. The whole cup is very thick tho and its got a lovely balance.

The product was clearly chipped before being packaged. Very disappointed and definitely will not be a return customer.
