Excellent quality
Excellent quality torch., it’s so bright! Got this as it was recommended as the best torch for reasonable money. It really is top notch. Ideal for home as an emergency torch and the red / clear covers would be great for use in a car or camping as they flood the room with light. The clip looks strong and I’ll test that over the coming weeks out and about. I’ll leave more feedback. The charge function is another reason I bought it as I’ll use it often and didn’t want to be buying batteries every few weeks.

Gets too hot for little hands to play with.
Review of ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC Tactical Dual Modes Torch Rechargeable, 1600 Lumens. Not quite sure how to start with this one, apart from being army green and made from aluminium I am at a loss why it is called tactical. The torch is small just 25mm (1”) in diameter and 150mm (6”) long, at one end (Tail) is an on/off press switch the other end the lens with LED, just below the lens another side press switch which controls the different types of illumination by pressing it sequentially. The most interesting part of the torch is the supplied rechargeable battery, this a single cell with a USB “C” socket built in, to recharge one has to remove the battery to plug in the supplied USB very short 150mm (6”) USB “A” to “C” lead, no charger supplied, as an alternative two AA batteries can be inserted when the rechargeable is flat. To use, the “Tail” switch used to turn on, the sequential side switch then used to flick through the different modes as per advertising, the most powerful light mode called turbo is 1600 Lumens however the actual lens area around the top of the torch in a short space of time (30 seconds) becomes to hot to touch when this mode used so this torch not really for children. At the opposite end of the scale “Moonlight mode” is barely visible, the SOS mode is bright and flashes extremely fast, the lens does cast a good beam of light in turbo mode, additional items include white and red lens caps, these actually quite effective in offering an all round light which can be bright at the expense of burnt fingers. The torch appears of good quality and well built, a strong belt clip and short lanyard offer security against loss, it does work well and as advertised but this for adults only due to the excess heat from the lens in turbo mode.

Awesome little torch
Supplied in attractive, branded cardboard packaging, your initial impression of this little torch is one of quality. This impression continues when you open and examine the contents; a slim, small sized but robust feeling, metal bodied torch, a very short USB A to USB C charging cable, a branded lanyard, 2 soft translucent silicone caps and instructions. I really like the small size of the torch. It is just perfect for putting in your pocket and, due to a decent clip, would attach well to a belt or epaulette (for those in the emergency services). I also like that it remembers what light level you set when turning on and off via the bottom button. I did find the instructions a little confusing but I got there in the end. Initially, I thought my torch was DOA. Despite charging the rechargeable battery (that is of a design I have not seen before and makes a whole heap pf sense) and checking I had the polarity correct I could not get the torch to turn on. About to give up, I found that the top cap that contains the LED bulb and mode / on and off button was slightly unscrewed. When I did it up fully the torch worked a treat. This torch really does get quite bright, remarkable in an object that is so small. The silicon caps / beacons would be useful for direction at night and if the strobe mode doesn't get someone's attention at a distance then nothing will. The only slight negative I have to say about the product is that the beam cannot be focussed. I would say this is an excellent torch for close up work but for distance another torch would need to be used. This is a well designed and well made torch. It is robust and powerful. Those that need to shine a light on documentation at night will find it particularly useful, that it remembers a set light level means that you wont dazzle your next 'customer' (or yourself).

First class torch
A very impressive yet compact torch that delivers an amazing 1600 lumens. It's appropriate for a multitude of uses, from simple camping trips to use by people in emergencies or just for everyday use around the house. For such a small torch, it gives off an incredibly bright light. It's rechargeable, which is good, as it means you don't have to worry about carry lots of spare batteries with you. Simply unscrew the end, take out the long and slim battery, and plug the battery in using USB-C. I think you can also use it with AA batteries, although I've not tried that. It's lightweight and slim, making it easy to take with you either in a trouser pocket or, using the clip, you can put it onto a belt, inside a jacket, or hang it from a rucksack. It's water-resistant up to IP68 rating, and it seems very tough, so I suspect it will last a long time and be able to take some serious rough and tumble. One thing that it came with that I'd never used before and was quite surprised at how effective they were, were the two diffusers. These are simply rubber caps that go onto the front of the torch. Just looking at them, they seemed unnecessary or superfluous; however, upon putting them onto the torch, I was amazed at how much light they gave off. Indeed, so much so that just using this single torch and one of the diffusers, it was possible to light up a whole large room enough to move about without any problems at all. There are two diffusers: one is white and gives off a bright white light, while the other is a reddy-orange colour and would be perfect for emergency use and attracting attention. As torches go, it's not particularly cheap; however, I think it offers excellent value for money as the build quality and functionality of the torch makes it ideal for so many different purposes. I suspect it's something we'll have around for many years to come.

Very good torch for the money
Here’s a consolidated review based on the four reviews you provided for the Tactical Dual Modes Torch: --- The ACEBEAM tactical torch is an impressive piece of equipment that combines compact design with powerful performance. With a maximum brightness of 1600 lumens, this rechargeable torch is perfect for a variety of situations, whether you're camping, in need of emergency lighting, or simply illuminating your home. The build quality stands out; it feels solid and durable, capable of withstanding regular use. It arrives neatly packaged with a rechargeable battery, USB-C charging cable, wrist lanyard, and two silicone diffusers—one white and one orange. These diffusers enhance the torch’s functionality, providing a soft, warm light for indoor use or a bright signal for emergency situations. Using the torch is intuitive, with a responsive thumb-click button on the tail for easy on/off operation and a smaller side button for adjusting brightness levels and accessing various modes, including strobe. The ability to swap the rechargeable battery for standard AA batteries adds to its versatility, ensuring you’re never left in the dark. While the torch does get warm after extended use—indicated by a helpful "hot" label—this minor issue doesn't detract from its overall performance. Lightweight and compact, it fits comfortably in your pocket or can be clipped to your gear. Overall, the ACEBEAM tactical torch is a reliable, well-designed tool that offers excellent value for both casual and serious users alike. Whether for emergencies or outdoor adventures, this torch is sure to impress.

Worth a 6 star rating to my mind
It’s really nice to have a modern torch with a separate ‘on/off’ switch and a mode button as opposed to having to cycle through assorted modes with just one button to get to the main beam. The ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC Tactical Torch comes in a presentation type box, handy for gifting, together with comprehensive well written instructions, charging lead and two ‘push-on’ type silicone rubber beacons, Orange and White, a wrist lanyard and replacement rubber 'O' rings (seals). It’s also rechargeable - the supplied charging lead fits into the supplied battery (with a standard type USB-C socket, see photos) not the torch and that’s sensible as it means if the battery died, you just replace it in theory. The light output is quoted as being 1600 lumens, which I can believe as it lit our garden up as if it was daylight! It IS super bright as to light said garden is no mean feat. The torch feels very robust, well engineered and overall is amazing - the two buttons is the best design feature so far I have encountered as that would get my 6 stars if I could award them for this design alone. I find it irritating to go through assorted presses to get to the light itself, so this is brillant - in all senses. It also includes a 5 year warranty as well which shows the makers have confidence in it to my mind.

Decent torch but some odd design choices
This torch is bright and has decent range, but there are some odd choices. The back switch is the on/off but will only come on in full power. There is no other option here. This is the reason for the side button. The side button works as follows: Single tap - alternates between your chosen lower setting and off. Double tap - alternates between your chosen lower setting and full power. Long press (when on) - alternates between the 3 lower settings. Why you can not just cycle through all four (including high) I do not know, this could be done on single presses as well. Triple tap - anti-attacker flashing mode (epileptics be warned, but a lot of tactical torches do come with this option). There is one other area I have a slight issue. You do not charge the torch. You remove the battery and charge that. Hey the 2010s want their torch back. Now some will say this was probably done to get the IPX8 (II assume they meant IP68) rating, but others manage this with the USB-C charge port on the torch, even with removable/replaceable batteries. The two beacon covers work well on full power, but then heat up quickly. Would not want to use them in that mode too long. TBH though they work reasonable well on the medium light setting as well. Over all as a spot light torch it is good, with a bright light and options for duller levels, but the method of moving through the levels is too fussy and the need to remove the battery to charge it has to also be taken in to account with the score.

GREEN TN 6500K HD LED Max Output: 1600lms/181m/8190cd
REVIEW FOR : GREEN TN 6500K HD LED Max Output: 1600lms/181m/8190cd As someone working in the automotive business this light has been great. Besides using it on cars I have started to use it around the house and it's been great. The Acebeam TAC 2AA is a durable and compact tactical flashlight, ideal for everyday carry and professional use. It features a robust aluminum build, I have a dropped it from up to 6 feet a few times and it continues to work. It provides a balanced beam for all my needs, and offers multiple lighting modes controlled by an intuitive dual-switch interface. While it has a shorter runtime on high mode, the rechargeable feature and its capability to use 2 AA batteries while still providing high output is amazing. Definitely a valuable and must have EDC tool or automotive flashlight.

Maravillosa... Un alumbrado excelente, no se le puede pedir más, y con las fundas blancas o roja perfecta para luz ambiente o señalización. No se lo que dura la batería porque no la he probado a fondo, espero que responda bien.
