I am reviewing this item in brand new condition. If you get a refurbished somewhere else, the shipping will probably differ a lot too. 1. Shipping - Shipped in hard shell, extra sturdy case inside a second zipped plush case. The plush case that comes with this headset is very, very nice and you will likely not replace it due to quality. 2. Sound - I wanted to give this headset several hours a day every day testing before reviewing. I've used them for calls, gaming, and jamming out via connected bluetooth to my PC and Phone. The best description that can be given for the sound quality is instead of having to use a custom 'sound profile' to get 'the best' sound, this headset gives you the sound exactly as it was 'written', directly to you. If you do any audio engineering you're familiar with panning, or simulated directions in video games. This one is really good. For music listening it's loud enough I don't need to play it at max volume, it doesn't cause listening fatigue. I've never enjoyed three hours of music without even realizing it until this set. 3. Comfort/texture. I rubbed my fingertips on the cup several times because it's tingly. My head is really small and all headphones are too big for me, but children's are too small, and this is actually still holding snug to my ears so the noise cancelling works like a charm. I've had other headsets at the 150 price point loosen by week 2 and not fit so snug, so the noise cancelling wasn't "wow" anymore but this is the real deal. And unlike the other headsets, turning on noise cancelling doesn't hum or blast static into your ears, or make the sound a little murky. I've worn these for several hours daily and they have a breathableness to them, somehow. It doesn't make my jaw ache. The tension (cup to ear) hasn't loosened like other models have. 4.) Mic - If you accidentally connect it to your PC instead of your actual dedicated microphone it affects audio quality severely because it goes into some 'hybrid' mode where you're meant to hear yourself talk but it's terrible for extraction shooter or any 'my environment gives me important ques' kind of games. I did NOT buy this headset for talking into it, but spent a very terrible round of Arc Raiders not being able to hear the map lol. Just noting. I use the headset to play audio, my studio condenser mic to talk into and in that 'setup' the audio is fantastic and so is my mic! 5) Charge/reliability/battery life: I plug them in when I got to the kitchen and before bed, they've never died. Yeah, I game and jam, but I'm also a game developer who takes calls and streams unexpectedly throughout the day as a fully remote worker. If the 4 white light icons represent charge then they've never fallen below 3/4 on this schedule. You can also used them plugged in from headset to desktop directly if that 'crisis' were to befall you. The bluetooth range is also farther than I expected, I can walk way into the kitchen past 3 walls and they stay connected with clear audio. So yeah, assuming they can hold up for 1 year of daily use like this I'd buy them again to refresh them the next year.

Picked these up after a lot of research and I'm genuinely impressed. The sound quality is rich and well-balanced — bass hits hard without drowning out the mids, and the highs are crisp and clear. Active noise cancellation is excellent, easily blocking out background noise whether I'm at home or out in public. The build feels premium — solid, sturdy, and comfortable even after hours of wear. Battery life has been outstanding, getting well beyond what I expected on a single charge. Pairing is seamless whether I'm on my phone or switching between devices. If you're on the fence, just get them. They deliver on the Beats reputation without compromise.

Excellent headphones! The sound quality is amazing with deep bass and clear vocals. The noise cancellation works very well, and Transparency Mode is also excellent. They are comfortable to wear for long periods, the battery lasts a long time, and pairing with my Samsung phone was quick and easy. The build quality feels premium. I highly recommend these headphones to anyone looking for great sound and comfort. 5/5!

4.5 stars.. So i just received these today so not a long term review, more of a general first impression. this is my second pair. I have numerous others to compare to. Ill compare to the previous generation and my sony 1000xm5's. compared to sonys . Musically they sound more rich and more lower end, just as clear. noise cancelling is about the same between the two. I got these for home and music. my sony's are for at work when i have to make calls or am just watching a video or need noise cancelling. Musically these sound better to my ear than the sony's. comfort is on par with teh sony's and these pack up better, fold in versus the sony twist to lay flat like apple air pod max. now compared to previous generation, these sound as good, maybe a little better. however, when talking strictly volume, the previous generation would cause you to go def, they were that loud. These high volume is maybe 10% more than sony, but easily 25% less than the gen 2's. that was my biggest issue with the sony's, i want to go def when i listen to something like hard rock. gen 2's did that easily. these at max volume wont cause you any pain because they dont get as loud. these will let you feel the bass in your ear, much better than the sony's but again nothing like previous generation. the only reason i replaced my previous is due to ear cup deteriorating after about 9 years to the point of becoming uncomfortable. these fit the same as previous and feel pretty much the same. the new case is no longer a hard case but a "pouch". it is somewhat tight to get in and out. They are usb-c, has cord and no block. Comes with 3.5mm cord also. overall, they sound good, musically better than sony's, slightly less on noise cancellation, fit better than air pox max. being apple based, connects the same as apple watch or air pods. My only real complaint is them not being as loud as previous gen, which made beats famous. I dont regret them as they sound better than most everything else and on sale, they are worth it.

For the price, these headphones are impressive, very comfortable around your ears for long hours of wearing, noise canceling feature works so well, you can barely hear the outside world, music quality and depth is phenomenal. Well worth the price. Too eager, I bought this pair just before Amazon Prime Sale, still worth every penny when you hear the quality, and nose cancellation.

Highs: Beats > Sennheiser. High frequencies are good in both headphones, but Sennheiser has them more emphasized. Sometimes it feels like if you crank them slightly higher you're gona hear sibilants. It's on the edge and this is not the most pleasant edge to me. However, the sound is accurate and somewhat distinctive in the upper-frequency range for the Sennheiser. As for the Beats, highs are as detailed as on the Sennheiser (if not more) but not overemphasized. Mids: Beats > Sennheiser. Sennheisers have a so-called v-shaped sound profile so it feels like Beats have way more mids. It might be even too much at first, but you get used to it. Beats are more detailed and fast. Sennheiser feels muddy in comparison (but still very precise and detailed compared to Sony and Bose). I think it's partially because of overemphasized bass that brings distortion into the mid range. You start hearing things that were not originally intended to be there by artists. Because of this, Sennheiser sounds more "musical", it fills the voids between the instruments and produces an overall "dense" sound. And the Beats have more reference sound. For many instrumental tracks (rock, metal) Beats might sound boring and hollow. I can't blame the headphones because such music is usually mastered to sound good on consumer electronics. And you can't put good "dense" sound into an average stereo system. It will sound too muddy and.. just bad. So they leave the voids between the instruments and try to separate them. But on a reference headphone, this sounds... well... too reference :) Electronic music is a completely different story, this is where Beats shine! Electronic sounds are way more precise. And with Beats, you get this precision (especially in the complicated EDM tracks; I mostly listened to psytrance, psychill, idm, etc. But an average techno/trance sounds good as well). Sennheisers sound fine too, but only until you compare them with Beats. Bass: Sennheiser > Beats. The Beats are precise, again, and so is the bass. If the bass was intended in the music that you listen to - you will hear it. And you will hear exactly as much as it was planned by an artist. Rap songs sound great because of that, as well as some EDM tracks with massive sub-bass. As for the Sennheisers, well, they are v-shaped still so they add a subtle amount of bass to the overall mix, and in most cases, this sounds fine and even fun. It also comes without surprise that in bass-heavy rap songs, it starts to sound too overemphasized. In terms of precision, Sennheisers are not as precise but still hold their ground well against sony/bose/etc. Soundstage: Sennheiser > Beats. Soundstage feels subtly more open on the Sennheisers. Probably this is because they are not as precise and produce more "parasite" harmonics that make instruments sound further from your head. I like this effect but this makes me wonder if it's possible to achieve a good soundstage for closed headphones without compromising the sound speed and precision. ANC/Transparency: Beats > Sennheiser. Beats are slightly better in noise cancellation and noticeably better in transparency mode. Not as good as AirPods Max, but kinda close. Sennheiser is not bad though, it's just not as good. Wind can be a problem for both headphones, but I don't care. Beats are better at blocking fan noise but may overemphasize it in the transparency mode. Mic: Sennheiser >> Beats. Sennheiser microphones are superior both in terms of volume and quality. Beats is really mediocre, on the edge of what I would call "usable" for the zoom meetings. On top of that Beats mic sounds really quiet in Windows 11 rendering itself useless. I hope new firmware/drivers will fix that. Ergonomics: Sennheiser > Beats. I like Sennheiser more. Beats have smaller earcups with stiffer ear cushions. Also, the clamping force on my average-sized head is obnoxiously strong. Not to the point when I feel a headache after wearing them for a few hours but still too much in my opinion. However, I like the fact that Beats are more compact. It makes a difference when I listen to them in bed, for example. They don't rub as much against the pillow and don't produce a lot of noise like Sennheisers. Sennheiser ear cups are rotating 180 degrees when on the Beats, they barely move. This is important if you want to move one headphone back to open your ear when you need to listen to somebody or something from the outside world quickly. Or if you're a DJ and need to hear monitors with one of your ears :). Sennheiser earcups pivot and stay perfectly adjacent to your head, unlike the Beats. Connectivity: Beats > Sennheiser. Both headphones are ok when you're near the source, but the Beats stay connected longer as I walk away from it. The usable distance is like ~30% longer. They also perform better for a source behind a wire mesh or a security door. I know that Sennheiser is capable of working with 2 devices simultaneously and this works pretty well. Not sure about the Beats but I don't really care... Controls: Beats >> Sennheiser. Beats are very basic. They don't even have a head detection. And this feels soo good after the glitchy Sennheisers! You can read more details in other Sennheiser reviews, but they are really bad in that aspect. I bit the bullet and used them as my daily drivers, and oh boy... settings were getting changed randomly, I had tons of fantom head detection events, and when I wanted to put them on or off I almost always accidentally touched the right earcup sensor and triggered something (usually play/pause).

Excellent sound quality, easy and quick controls on the headphones, used them at the gym for a couple years now and they still hold a charge for 5 workouts and quality is the same as when I bought them. The noise cancel is awesome for planes or when you need to focus on work. Comes with an aux cord too that works on planes. charges quickly and adjustable fit from my 11 year old to an adult size. Would be again but so far I haven't had to because they last!

I debated between the Beats Solo 4 and the Studio Pro for a while, and I'm so glad I went with the Studio Pro. As soon as I turned on Active Noise Cancellation, I finally understood what everyone was talking about. The first time I used them, the sound of my air purifier practically disappeared. It was one of those "wow" moments. The sound quality is excellent, but what really impressed me was how comfortable they are. At first they felt a little snug under my ears, but after wearing them for a few days they started molding to my head and became much more comfortable. Now I can wear them for hours while working. Transparency Mode is another feature I didn't realize I'd appreciate so much. Being able to switch between blocking out distractions and hearing what's going on around me is incredibly convenient. I bought these primarily for office use, and they've been perfect. They help me stay focused in a busy environment without feeling isolated when I need to hear someone talking to me. If you're on the fence like I was, I'd absolutely recommend them. They've exceeded my expectations, and I only wish I had bought a quality pair of headphones sooner.

The beats Studio Pro are comfortable to wear with great sound quality as expected from corporate owner Apple. The control/power button is small, somewhat tricky to press when wearing. Nice that it can collapse into a small supplied travel pouch. Works with both Apple and Android phones, thou it has better features using Apple phone app. Used mostly at the gym or while outside on the patio. A bit pricey for what it is, purchased when was on sale is best. Great for long road trips or with air travel. Would recommend.

You will never have a better quality sound than these beats but there's pros and cons in every product so i'll list them PROS Pretty efficient, good sound quality, a pretty good noise cancellation and pretty good to fold them as you can transport them anywhere with the case. Really great for relaxing and travelling from afar, pretty great for a headphones you'll want to keep for a few years, pretty rough as i smash them on the ground while walking because i'm a clumsy ass but it didn't scratch a little bit CONS They can be irritable to wear for a while, also the noise cancellation have a weird knocking noise on the left ear that can be annoying if you do focused tasks ( DO NOT WORRY, IT ONLY HAPPENED WHEN YOU NEAR AN INTERNET ROUTER, YOU CAN ALWAYS CANCEL IT BY TURNING DOWN THE NOISE CANCELLATION), Also, a lot of the time, i had to cancel my bluethooth near my phone so that my tablet will connect to it as it doesn't have an M1 ship, which can be able to be focused on one apple device or android device, also gym is not recommended as it falls after a deadlift Overall, i recommend them for travelling, relaxing or studying.

Classic beats M.O.; Durable, reliable and for the price, good sound for the everyday consumer. I used these mostly in the gym or other methods of training and they are perfect. Light weight, don’t absorb the sweat from my ears and because they are over ear they stay on well. Obviously they aren’t as cool as ear buds but they are relatively breathable for an over ear; I can wear them for a 2 hour workout and my ears don’t seem to sweat any more than the rest of my head. They aren’t mixed slightly bass heavy, which pairs well with the typical upbeat EDM style music I listen to when working out. Tough to beat these for gym or athletic use.

I upgraded from prior versions of this headphone. The good - great sound, decent noise cancellation, good battery life, USB charging and still has a standard headphone jack as well (e.g. for airplanes). The soft case is actually better for me than the prior hard cases and has 2 pockets for cables. The headphones look a little smaller and this is because the earpads are slightly smaller on the outside. Don't be alarmed, there is no impact to fit and function, just a little less bulk. The bad - the part I do not like, is there are no longer the Apple chips (e.g. W1 or H1) that allow for seamless multiple device connection and switching. You now need to manually switch between devices using the Bluetooth menu (e.g. switching from iPhone to iPad). A custom new chip was made to improve the connectivity to Android but at some expense to the Apple platform. It actually is not that big a deal, but is a slight step back for me.
