Is the controller easy to break with the screen if you say slip on a banana and it falls onto the ground? I'm not very careful with my controllers 

I think your safe enough as long as you avoid blue shells. If in doubt pick up a couple of stars for added protection.

Are the Game discs provided? What practical difference does it make it they aren't included?

No. Mariokart is pre installed and Splatoon is a digital download. Whilst there is a convenience to not having to swap discs over to play these games, they do take up space on your hard drive.

Are the console and gamepad black

Yes. They are both black versions.

Is the SD card good to use because i want more memory

I would reccommend that you use an external USB hard drive with a Y-cable or a externally powered usb hard drive if you're planning to download quite a few games - but if you're only looking to download some apps and maybe a few games then a 32gb SD card will Be adequate.
