CheongKwanJang is a very well-known and trusted brand in South Korea. When you take it every day, you may not notice dramatic effects right away. But looking back, I often realize that I tend to get colds or feel more exhausted when I stop taking it. I would recommend it, especially for general wellness and maintaining energy.

I've been using Korean Red Ginseng for a very long time on and off, and I was pleased to find this product in the USA.It has been 15 years since I last used this product. I was stationed overseas from 2009-2013 in the Republic of South Korea, where I would go to Lotte World and purchase Korean Red Ginseng pouches for approximately $320 USD as a dietary supplement. The Jung Kwan Jang individual packaged sticks are the closest product I can find to what I used to buy.Pros:Health benefits such as improved circulation and immune system support. The quality is very good and reasonably priced compared to products abroad. It tastes less like dirt water than the overseas product and is made with natural ingredients and care.The packaging is great—easy to take on the go. I can keep it in my backpack, at my desk, or even in my pen drawer.Cons:I would rather have the nasty-tasting "dirt water product" that I experienced overseas; however, this is the closest product I can find after trying several through Amazon and other places.It's a dietary supplement that must be taken every day.Summary:Affordable, fast delivery, convenient on-the-go packaging, great taste, and excellent quality!I would recommend this product to anyone who cares about overall health and wants a great product for preventive medicine.

More energy, no longer had to take my blood pressure medicine.The BP medicine, after taking for a number of years, gave me severe muscle weakness in my lower body.The red ginseng gave me more extended energy so I could reduce my caffeine intake and the stopping of the BP medicine reduced that dragging feeling, so easier to get around in the afternoon = less coffee.I have been off the BP medicine for almost 2 months and feel great. I pedal an exercise bicycle 10-20 minutes a day 2x per day, at least 3x per week and always monitor my heart rate. So far, so good. Resting heart rate improving also.I would not recommend doing this without coordinating with your doctor. I did not do that.Personally the medical establishment these days has turned into a do it yourself type of treatment. God forbid you have something really wrong. I got tired of my doctor prescribing one BP medicine after another so I searched for a holistic approach and I found this ginseng. I usually get about a one pint bottle of drinking water and empty an envelope of the red ginseng into it and consume during the next hour. It is very palatable that way. I tried mixing it with some tea and the volume of tea vs. RG was not high enough to make the taste tolerable. I am very happy with this product and have now subscribed to receive it monthly. Oh, yeah, it also increases the sex drive. My Korean friend at work said it would and he was correct, but don't buy it for that.Now, if I can only get my FSA to pay for it :-)

Excellent ginseng! Fast delivery!

This is NOT the "Jin" version with sugar and other ingredients. It has a very strong medicinal bitter herb taste but I got used to it after a few days of taking it in the morning. I have noticed I no longer feel lethargic and my energy levels have improved after taking it for 2 weeks. I am very sensitive to caffeine and this doesn't make me jittery and sweat but gives me the energy to start the day. I've also found that my hands and feet aren't always cold anymore (even in Summer). Maybe it's a placebo affect but I would definitely repurchase.
