I was looking for a budget friendly mic that wouldn't break the bank and would allow for a clear isolated sound, these little things do exactly that. Very easy to use, you just plug and play the receiver into your device and boom, the phone pics up the receiver and now your mic is good to go. If you're looking to cop some good budget friendly microphones then look no further!

I was looking to find an alternative to my son wearing a headset and while Playstation has a camera/mic combo, we didnt need the camera aspect. This allows him to talk and now his ears are free to hear his gaming buddy's and most importantly, me!

I bought these as finding mics with a receiver that plugs into a phone audio port is tough. In fact these were the only ones I found here. I wanted the receiver to plug into the audio port so I could at the same time have an extra battery plugged into the USBc port.These do not work with my default camera app, I used opencamera. This seems like that's pretty normal per my research.I found plugging the receiver into my phone audio port and then turning receiver on worked best. In fact it was the only way it worked when plugging it into 3.5 mm audio port. Maybe USB c method works either way, didn't test that.The 20 meter/65' distance in the description is a bit off in my experience but not by much. At about 40' if I turned my back to my phone the mic would drop out but if I turned toward receiver it would work fine again.Battery life on mics seems fine but my actual usage time on these was max 3 hours per outing.Getting the wind muffs on was more difficult than it needs to be, I almost gave up and thought the muffs were wrong but I did finally get them on and they work. They might work better than they need to but I used them when wind was at 20 mph and never heard wind noise once when I played back my videos.So if you just want to get started with whatever you are doing that requires a mic these do work OK.

Okay so this product does work as a microphone however there are absolutely no instructions for operating or setting it up. It was difficult to get the wind muffler on it. I don't even have a bulky phone case but I still couldn't have my case on and plug it in which is a huge downside. Because there are no instructions I was winging it and honestly it is possible that it does actually reduce background noise but if it does, I couldn't figure it out, the only thing explaining anything showed the noise reduction light i tried it with that light both on and off and still didnt work. The only thing I was able to find use for it was to be further away from my phone and still have it hear me. Just not thrilled overall with this product. Overall I'm not pleased and probably won't bother using since I'd had to be constantly removing from my case. Should have just saved my money.

These are great microphones for shooting video with an iPhone. The sound quality is impressive even without the furry windscreen, but with it, the audio is outstanding.

These were great when I first got them, but within a few months the charge wasn’t holding as much. I was using them to record videos, and it would start cutting off, losing connection unless they had just been charged, causing me to have to redo the videos since if you are using a phone there is no way to check if sound is coming through.For the price value (around $20) the quality is fine, and as long as you remember to charge them before use and not planning on using for over an hour (I tried streaming with it and people kept saying I was cutting off) you’ll be fine. When charged it recorded clear audio, but I had to remember not to let my hair touch it, it was very loud and obnoxious.
