Maison Alhambra Hercules really shines when it comes to the scent itself. Right off the spray, you get this smooth, sweet and spicy blend that exudes a really warm and confident smell. There's a creamy vanilla presence mixed with a rich tobacco-like quality, which is balanced by light spices and a subtle woody backbone. It smells deep and slightly sweet, but never cloying or harsh. It certainly is a great clone of parfum de marly Herod, of which this cologne clones quite reliably. It gets even better as it dries down: warmer, smoother, more refined. The vanilla and woods stick to the skin in a cozy masculine manner, feeling both classy and comforting at the same time. It's that kind of scent that works perfectly for evenings, colder weather, or any other occasion when you want to smell put together and confident. Performance is solid; and for the price, the quality of this scent is really impressive-this smells way more expensive than it is.

Oh my goodness this fragrance right here is a banger. Just imagine Tom Ford tobacco vanilla without the clove all throughout. This fragrance smells so good and the tobacco isn’t overpowered. It blends with the sweetness in the spice of the vanilla and cinnamon, and it carries it out through the entire time of the smell. Honestly, the projection is stronger than I expected. You can definitely smell it from a few feet and probably for about a good 3-4 hours of strong performance. It would probably be more and colder in colder temperatures The longevity is insane as well. This can easily last over 10 hours on your skin. The design of the bottle was very basic, but the scent isn’t. I was kind of afraid to buy this, but I was really surprised and then the price of this I feel like this was a steal.

Great bang for your buck. Definitely inspired by PDM Herod, but without the smokiness of it. The tobacco, vanilla, cinnamon is all there. It smells a bit like a vanilla cherry. It's definitely a lot sweeter presenting than Herod due to the nature of the fact that the smokiness and spiciness isn't quite there, and is instead, replaced with a stronger incense note. Still a great fragrance that will get you like 90% there. The longevity however leaves much to be desired. On skin it probably lasts like 4-5 hours. As for performance, it also doesn't project very far and only projects for about 2-3 hours. Despite this, I'd still recommend this fragrance as an alternative to Herod on a budget.

This cologne is fantastic! A buddy of mine at work has the Herod cologne by Parfums de Marly and I researched one that was similar because I didn't want to spend $300-$400. Out of the box the bottle is really nice. The box itself was nicely presented. The bottle has a matte gold look to it. Has the Maison Alhambra emblem. The top isn't magnetic but it secures nicely. As far as the scent goes it's a rich and deep scent with that tobacco smell that gives warmth. Has a sweet smell to it but not overly sweet. The atomizer on this bottle is actually really impressive as well. Both of my parents liked it when they smelled it and my dad had me order him the same that very night. All in all I'd say this is a beautiful cologne for the price and bottle size you get.

Absolute steal for the price. Rich warmed tobacco smell with a powdery essence. Extremely masculine. Great for fall time or cool weather. This is the kind of fragrance I’d wear out with the boys when going out to eat, grabbing a drink, are playing poker. Smells high end without the high-end price.

The scent itself is absolutely amazing. The quality is there, but it simply doesn't last. This is sadly a 2 hour fragrance at-best. If it performed better I would consider this to be one of the best value clone fragrances on the market.

At this price point for a massive 3.4 oz bottle, you can afford to be a little heavy-handed with the sprayer. If you love warm, sweet tobacco scents and want a near-identical luxury vibe on a budget, this is absolutely worth adding to your collection!
