These hood struts were a perfect fit for my 2016 model. Installation was quick and didn’t require any special tools. Once installed, the hood lifts smoothly and stays securely in place — no more struggling or worrying about it falling. Great value for the quality. Definitely recommend if your original supports are worn out. It's too bad that the grandson wrecked his car about 5 days after install...oh well, more part reviews will be coming soon for the Sonata.

These hood struts fit perfectly on my 2017 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T. Installation took about five minutes, and they hold the hood better than the OEM ones, which failed after just a couple of years. Solid upgrade and I’d definitely buy them again if needed.

They worked well. The hood now opens itself up basically. Soon as you unhook it from the latch in the middle of the hood, it wants to pop up with ease. It was easy to replace and fit perfectly. I dont know about the longevity of the struts since my car got stolen but the installation went smooth and feel of the hood felt great.

Quick, easy replacement for my two dead struts. Only needed one, but with both, hood is secure.

This has turned out to be a superb choice! I went for two years using a cardboard piece of a packing brace to hold my hood up. I broke down and.ordered this set not expecting much for the price but it had to be better than what I had. Got.them in and was impressed at the quality but was curious how well they would function. Took me literally 5 minutes to replace and that's while drinking coffee. They actually work better than the stock ones I had originally on the car. I definitely would buy these again and if you have any questions about quality or performance, rest assured its.all there.

Good fit for 2017 Hyundai Sonata Sport. Watch utube for install if needed. Easier with a helper. Works well so far but time will tell on longevity.
