On the back of the active BX4BT, there is a switch that sets the active speaker to either the left or the right channel. The choice is yours!

Yes, the BX4BT has a standby mode. The standby mode activates after 30 minutes of the speakers receiving no audio signal. Once they receive an audio signal again, the speakers take 3 seconds for the audio to fade back up to normal volume.
