The scribing wheel fits my Veritas marking gauge well enough. The screws provided don't match the Veritas diameter or thread, so you would need to use the re-use the old screw. The Veritas scribing wheel is shaped like a thin cupped washer that nestles inside the hollow at the end of the shaft, whereas the Clarke Brothers wheel has a short base that sits on top of the end of the shaft. It's a slightly different design but doesn't appear to affect function so far. The original Veritas wheel does fully recess into the reference face when the shaft is fully retracted, whereas the Clarke Brothers wheel slightly protrudes, but this isn't a big deal for me.These wheels don't appear to be all that sharp based on the fingernail test, so I will probably sharpen them with a stone or sandpaper before using.

The wheels are sharp and easily mark surfaces as designed. Clean crisp lines!

i had misread the title and description about it being only wheels. These were over priced for just 3 wheels.

I bought these replacement blades to replace my old Clarke one. They look exactly the same as the OEM and mark just as well. The only problem is that delivery took 1 month!! Perhaps it is a supply chain issue... but rather a huge inconvenience for the customer.

These replacement wheels are sharp and scribe a nice clean line. They take just a minute to install. I replaced one that was chipped and dull. And another that was just dull.Note that they also will fit the Veritas micro-adjust marking gauge - but you will need to use the original mounting screw from the Veritas.
