I have now purchased a total of 4 shades from this company and each one is perfect! The shades are always made exactly to the measurements I provided and are very easy to install. I ordered 2 nearly 8 months ago and have enjoyed them so much I purchased 2 more for a different area of my home. The shade material is pretty thin but they offer great sun & heat protection and are super easy to open/close. I love how well they fit in my windows & I haven’t even needed to screw them in or make any permanent changes to my windowsill. Overall a fantastic purchase and one I would (& have) make again!

These are excellent! My husband works the night shift so we needed these for our master bedroom. We have older windows so we had to put them on differently. My husband built a frame for them to fit inside of but we knew that going in so it was no problem. They work great and look really nice. The assembly was easy and the fit was perfection. The room is dark now and much cooler too. We live in a very hot climate so that was an added benefit. The cool AC air stays in the room instead of escaping through the windows. Very clever design and the customizing was a huge benefit. Highly recommend.

Overall, I am fairly pleased with this custom sized cellular shade that I received. The frame seems well-built and sturdy, and it is easy to assemble. The shade opens and closes quite smoothly, stays in place wherever you want to leave it (all the way open, all the way closed, and anywhere in between) and I think there are even two screws in the base of the frame that allow for adjustment of that if need be. The dimensions were just slightly off what I ordered (ordered 23-5/8” x 29-3/4”, received 23-19/32” x 29-21/32”), but it ended up fitting my window frame just fine. I used the included adhesive foam strip all the way around the perimeter of the frame, which resulted in a nice and snug fit. For the price I paid for this, I was disappointed that there were a few small scuffs and scratches on the frame and on the back side of the handle, but luckily none of these were visible after installation. Also, the shade is slightly deformed in the bottom two corners, the left side more so than the right side. This doesn’t affect the functionality of the shade but just doesn’t look great. When the shade is fully open, it doesn’t store perfectly level with the top edge of the frame/bezel, which is a little noticeable (again doesn’t affect the functionality of the shade at least). I am curious to see how this shade lasts over time, but as long as it last for a significant amount of time, I will be pleased with this purchase and feel that is a pretty decent value for the price (I wish it were a little cheaper, but it’s not the worst).

The media could not be loaded. Love these custom side close blinds! Followed the directions for measurements and they’re perfect. Took about 2 weeks to get here. Easy to put together and quality materials. Is completely black out as well. Spendy but worth it.

So far, the best solution to blackout windows. They’re work well and were easy to install.

My son is in a rental for college. So no drilling. Very easy to install. And it works perfectly! My son loves it.

The media could not be loaded. I should have spent the $170 sooner, the large bedroom window, roughly 72 x 50 is completely blocked out in my rental apartment with no tools needed! It sounded too good to be true but it's just as advertised, complete black out. It arrived way faster than expected for it being custom made, I went with white frame and black blinds, it came in four pieces that snap together with ease, measurements were a perfect fit. I love the option from being able to open left to right. It's very good quality for the price! I've tried everything before this, from the cheapest options of cardboard in window to black tarp taped up, to more expensive options on Amazon and nothing compares to these due to the custom fit and ease of opening and closing.Please buy them and follow the instructions, you will not regret it!

I purchased these in mid-May and waited over a month for them to arrive as the shipping information never once updated for us. When they arrived, all of the frames were an incorrect size and did not fully black out. Because we’ve lived without blinds for over a month, we decided to install them anyway, but we had to decide if we wanted the gap at the top or bottom of the window. The gap is about 1/2 an inch for the non-black out blinds, so it’s pretty noticeable. The gap is about 1/3 of an inch for the black out blinds. All of our windows are the same size, and of course, the blinds company blamed my measurements, despite all of the blinds provided being different lengths. They told me to remeasure them and they’d send new ones. I’m not willing to wait over another month to get blinds for my new house.
