Heat sterilization is done more-so to end the lifecycle of pests that feed on the pallet, all part of the food chain. There are very few bacteria that one needs to worry about. Q: How many come in the pack?

It looks like one comes in the pack according to the bottom of the package. A different company has taken this one over since I bought mine for my class.

Q: How long after purchase can it be kept before it needs to be dissected? I would like to order now but will not be used until mid July.

just keep it in a dry cabinet or something and you should be good. they’re really dry and i have to rehydrate mine to dissect them anyway
