I purchased the HP DeskJet 2855e Wireless Printer to help with both homeschooling my son and managing my small business, and it has been a fantastic addition to my workspace. If you need an affordable, compact, and efficient printer for everyday use, this one delivers! Setup & Connectivity – Quick & Hassle-Free Setting it up was super simple—I had it connected to Wi-Fi and ready to print in just a few minutes. The HP Smart app makes it even easier to print from my phone, tablet, or laptop, which is a game-changer when I need to print school worksheets or shipping labels on the go. Print Quality – Crisp & Clear For a budget-friendly printer, the print quality is great for documents, worksheets, and business materials. Text comes out sharp and clear, and colors are vibrant enough for basic graphics and crafts. It’s not a high-end photo printer, but for everyday printing needs, it’s perfect. Speed & Performance – Gets the Job Done This printer isn’t the fastest, but it’s consistent and reliable. It handles homeschool worksheets, invoices, labels, and shipping documents without issues. If you’re printing high-volume, it may not be the best, but for moderate daily use, it works just fine. Ink Subscription – Worth It! I opted into HP’s Instant Ink subscription, and it’s a huge money saver! Since I print regularly for homeschooling and my business, I never worry about running out of ink—HP automatically sends new cartridges before I need them. Final Verdict: Great for Everyday Use! If you need a compact, reliable, and budget-friendly wireless printer for homeschooling, business, or personal use, the HP DeskJet 2855e is a solid choice. It’s easy to set up, prints well, and works seamlessly across devices. ✔ Pros: Easy setup, wireless printing, good quality for documents, Instant Ink option saves money ✘ Cons: Not super fast, not ideal for high-volume printing Would I buy it again? Yes! It meets all my homeschooling and business needs without breaking the bank.

Great printer at a super good price. I have been using this now for about 4 months and only had one jam. So far I am quite pleased with its performance. It was easy to set up and connect to my phone and laptop. the only thing is my roommate has a similar printer and sometimes I can get them mixed up bc i haven't found a way to rename mine

I’ve been using the HP DeskJet 2855e for a couple of weeks now, and I’m quite impressed with what it offers for a budget-friendly printer. Here’s my detailed breakdown: Design and Build Quality The HP DeskJet 2855e has a compact and lightweight design that easily fits on a small desk or shelf. Its clean white exterior gives it a modern, minimalist look. While it's made mostly of plastic, the build feels sturdy enough for regular home office use. Setup and Connectivity Setting up the printer was a breeze! The wireless setup is straightforward using the HP Smart app, and it connected to my Wi-Fi without any issues. I was able to print from my laptop, smartphone, and even my tablet effortlessly. It also supports AirPrint, which is a plus for Apple users. Print Quality For a printer in this price range, the print quality is decent. Black-and-white documents come out sharp and clear. Color prints are vibrant, though not professional-grade quality. It works well for everyday tasks like printing homework, forms, or casual photos. If you're printing high-resolution images or need professional color prints, you might want to look at higher-end models. Performance This printer performs well for basic tasks. It’s not the fastest, but it's good enough for occasional use. The scan and copy functions work as expected, and having these features in one device is convenient for a home office setup. However, if you plan to print a lot, the print speed might be a bit slow for your liking. Ink and Running Costs HP includes 6 months of free Instant Ink with the purchase of this model, which is a fantastic deal. The Instant Ink program automatically delivers ink to your door before you run out, and it’s based on the number of pages you print, not how much ink you use. After the trial period, you’ll need to subscribe to a plan, which can be affordable depending on your printing needs. Otherwise, HP ink cartridges can be pricey, so this is something to keep in mind. Pros: Compact and space-saving design Wireless connectivity with mobile printing Easy setup with HP Smart app Free 6 months of Instant Ink Affordable price Cons: Print speed is slow, especially for large documents Color printing quality is average Ink cartridges can be expensive without Instant Ink subscription Overall, the HP DeskJet 2855e is a solid choice if you're looking for an affordable all-in-one printer for light home use. It’s easy to set up, works wirelessly with multiple devices, and includes free Instant Ink, making it a great deal for casual users. However, it’s not ideal if you need high-quality color prints or fast print speeds for heavy workloads.
