I love the Garage Sale Mysteries series!This DVD arrived in perfect condition and plays without problems.Amazon delivery was on time!I highly recommend this DVD for all mystery lovers!

What a wonderful find from Hallmark! Great writing and interesting plots without ANY offensive language, revealing outfits or graphic murder details. Wow. Hubby and I kept saying, "This is from Hallmark?!" I was concerned at first when the dvd had stickers noting "Mature themes and violence" and "Recommended for mature audiences" - thinking Hallmark went the way of "Sherlock" in subject matters or something. Well, thankfully this series is on par with the early Poirot (David Suchet), Rosemary & Thyme, Miss Marple, or Murder She Wrote. Clean and story driven. ( I like to 'exercise my grey cells' without all of the suggestive seductive junk out there these days. Bravo to Hallmark!) Love how well this series is shot - zeroing in on valuable items noticed amid a pile of stuff like a true thrift shopper that the lead character plays. Good supporting characters. An actual real family unit (teen kids) with dad and mom that enjoys each other's company. Tech savvy son helps mom with up to date computer programs to solve a case... yet has vintage (really) cool stuff right along side in another case. Love that. Note: Changes from first dvd story to the rest - the husband actor changes as well as the resale shop location. ( I thought they got a new shop due to the roof issue!...) Recommended hands- down. Nothing offensive here - and I am very picky ( ! ) as to what I will watch, much less recommend. Sad that the actress was dropped by Hallmark over a personal situation... this series is wonderful and sure to be a classic. Get them all before they become a rare find...

I love this series and am delighted it's now available. Hallmark Channel, get over it! Lori Laughlin made a stupid mistake. Taking this series away because of a mistake that proved her a nitwit is no reason to punish viewers. If people believe these actors are as flawless as their characters then Hallmark must assume the audience is under twelve. She didn't kill anyone or sell drugs. She is an excellent actress, not the leader of a church. I, for one, would love to see this series continue. Perhaps an episode where she tries to pay to get her son into Harvard and a hospital scene where she's recovering after Dani hits her over the head with an antique mallet. No? Ah well...she paid her dues. In fact she so overpaid it's hilarious. The university is far more culpable.

The s-i-x, available, offerings of the "Garage Sale Mystery" movies (12 movies [on 12, separate, discs]) are VERY entertaining. I advise anyone worried about the compatibility of these Australian [Area-code 4] discs NOT to worry. They SAY "4", but are actually playable on an American A/1 disc-player. That is all I have to say other than only the last two titles only have ONE disc. The first 4 collections have 3, or, 4 discs, each.Highly recommended by THIS mystery-fan, and Amazon-buyer/reviewer.

The Hallmark Garage Sale Mysteries are very well done. The acting is good, there is humor, family and friend relationships that are interesting and entertaining. These are a great escape from the nightly news and the reality of our daily lives. I would also recommend the Hailey Dean Mysteries, The Real Murders with Candace Cameron Bure, Darrow and Darrow, The newer Murder 101 with the young college Mystery Literature teacher. These are my KEEPERS! We return to the scene of the crime. I am the wife.

The first four Garage Sale mysteries are in this set (Garage Sale Mystery (2013), All That Glitters (2014), The Deadly Room (2015), The Wedding Dress (2015)). Nice package with a synopsis for each movie on the back. In very small print on the back it says that the first two movies (Garage Sale Mystery and All That Glitters) are closed captioned. I did not see that option on the menu and when I had the closed caption option in use on my TV it did not work during the movies. If someone can get that option to work please post how. I enjoyed all the movies and look forward to Collection Two hopefully coming soon.

We enjoyed this series when it was televised. Since it won't be shown on the network anymore, I enjoyed revisiting these cozy mysteries from a now defunct series.

I always enjoyed the Garage Sale mysteries, so I bought the DVD.

I love the gentle intelligence and general lack of cliche in the dialogue. The family story running through the excellent mysteries is charming. Lori Loughlin should have made many many more of these instead of the stupid studios sacking her.

I love these mystery stories. In my opinion, the Garage Sale Mysteries are the best of the Hallmark mysterie films. The discs are region free, which is great.

Haven’t watched it yet, but if the quality of the dvds is A+. I know I will thoroughly enjoy these stories as I have seen a couple on tv.

I really enjoyed them something a bit different so much so I have ordered another series..
