A travel projector that finally gets the important things right
I’ve owned more projectors than I care to admit, including models from XGIMI, JMGO, and Nebula, and the Elfin Flip 4K has become my favorite “grab-and-go” projector. What surprised me most wasn’t just the image quality, it was how easy it is to actually live with. The Flip design protects the lens, the projector is compact enough to toss into a backpack, and setup only takes a minute. Unlike some portable projectors that feel like compromises, this one genuinely feels premium. The image is incredibly sharp. Native 4K combined with the RGB triple laser produces vibrant colors and excellent detail. I found the picture noticeably crisper than several other portable projectors I’ve owned. For movie nights and casual gaming it looks fantastic. The Google TV interface is fast, Netflix is officially supported, and the optical zoom is a feature I didn’t realize I’d appreciate so much until I started moving it between rooms. There are a couple of things worth mentioning. I actually disabled the automatic obstacle avoidance and screen alignment features because I preferred setting the image exactly how I wanted. Once disabled, it has been rock solid. Also, since it doesn’t have an internal battery, you’ll need power wherever you use it, but that tradeoff allows it to be much brighter than battery-powered competitors. For me, this has become the projector I take on trips, move around the house, and use whenever I don’t want to drag out a larger home theater setup. Pros * Outstanding 4K image quality * Compact and easy to transport * Excellent Google TV experience * Optical zoom is genuinely useful * Great value for the performance Cons * Auto setup features can occasionally be overzealous (easy to disable) * Requires AC power If you’re looking for one projector that can move from the bedroom to the living room to vacation without sacrificing image quality, I don’t think there’s a better option anywhere near this price point.

The OLED of Projectors
Great projector. Very portable. Can bring it wherever I want to without a hassle. Has a nice optical zoom which works well for online gaming. Low input lag, just make sure memc is off. I turn it on when watching sports. It's literally like a portable OLED TV that can go up past 100 inches. It's also kind of a short throw projector. Instead of 1:1, it's 2:1. Still great. Doesn't have to be far from the wall to get a big image. The audio is great as well. Punchy bass with clear dialogue. Only problem is lack of Miracast. I can't use my Samsung dex on it. I'm sure there's another way though. It does support Chromecast. Though to get to that setting is a bit of a hassle. Another con is the base of the stand. It feels like it can be tipped over. I do like it's cute design and bronzy color. It looks like a little spaceship/Nightwing floating around because of the way it floats in between the handles. The remote is great too. Has all the buttons. And feels good in the hand. Just needs a zoom button on it. All in All, this is probably the best gaming projector out there. Great for IMAX movies as well. Like a true home cinema. Another best feature is the autofocus. I was always put off seeing low budget projectors doing this wrong, but Xjimi got it right. Just point and aim at the wall and this little machine will fit it just right. The pictures may make it seem a bit pinkish, that's just my camera. Colors looks normal in person. Great value for the money. I really enjoy my time using it.

easy use
Bought this for my classes and overall very happy with it. Compact and portable, easy to move around or set up in a classroom, and it looks great too. The flip design is really practical, letting you project on the wall or ceiling with flexible angle adjustment. The only minor downside is the clarity is slightly less than expected, but it’s perfectly fine for everyday class content and slides.

Excellent projector for an excellent price
For the price, this is a stellar little machine. I'm really impressed by how bright it is, and how clear the picture is even on a bare wall (no screen). It's easy to navigate right out of the box. Plugged it in, turned it on, away we go. Native Netflix is a great feature; I wish there were more apps directly on the OS. Maybe future updates will improve the number of apps. The projector is super light and easy to move around. I didn't feel it getting too hot while I used it (longest time so far 2.5 hours in one session). The fan is super quiet. The remote is responsive. Still messing with the settings to get it exactly right. The built-in speaker is clear and loud, and sounds better than bluetooth connected speakers. Overall, this is a great value projector and I'm really glad I bought it. Some caveats- I'm not using it to replace a tv or be my only screen, it's not a "home theater," and I'm not using it outside. It's the thing I'm using for parties, sports events, and casual movie nights with friends. I think it's perfect for that, but I don't think I would want this to be my only machine (gaming, zoom calls, binging shows, etc etc).

Good quality
I’m very impressed with this portable projector. The picture quality is clear and bright, even in a moderately lit room. It’s compact, lightweight, and very easy to set up, making it perfect for movies, gaming, or outdoor use. The built-in speaker sounds decent, and connecting to phones or laptops is quick and simple. For the price, the performance exceeded my expectations. Definitely a great purchase!

Super nice and portable projector
I’ve been using this projector for a while now and I’m really happy with it. Setup was super easy. I had it up and running in minutes with no hassle. It’s a Google TV platform. The portable design is clean and compact, and it fits nicely in my bedroom without taking up much space. Picture quality is solid for the price. It’s clear, colors look good. I love the adjustable stand because I can tilt it and watch comfortably from bed, or take it to project a backyard football game! Only small downside is brightness, it’s a bit dim in a well-lit room. But in a dark setting, it looks great. Really non issue. Already recommending my friends to buy this exact model.

Unreadable text on a bright projector.
Bright but frustrating. There are many good things about this projector. This is my 3rd Xgimi and will be my last. The brightness is great However the lasers are not in sync with each other. There is notable separation of colors in pure white text, like little ghosts around it. The tops of letters tend to be blue, while the bottoms seem to be red. The practical result is that the image is never sharp. The focus never really clicks into place. I would never buy this again. As stated, all the features are amazing, but the picture is frustrating and that really should be the main thing on any projector. For the money I paid for this I am sorely disappointed. The focus is NEVER clear, text is hard to read and irritating. My last Xgimi was a Horizon 1080p which within a month developed stuck pixyls in the center of the screen. Xgimi has not replaced it, even though it had what I deem to be a huge manufacturing defect that showed up within one month. If you are looking for a projector like the Elfin Flip 3 laser, I strongly would look into Nexigo. I am writing this review from my Elfin Flip and honestly am having a hard time reading my own text, and my screen is 100 inches diagonally. This is not acceptable and Xgimi's support is worthless.

Decent project, terrible Google TV system
The Google TV system that the projector uses is absolutely terrible. It is slow and buggy. The apps take forever to install or load. Sometimes it automatically goes to update mode in the middle of playing a movie. Wish they can switch to a more reliable operating system.

Highly recommend this little beast of a projector
Honestly blown away by this XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K Laser. I had the original Elfin Flip (1080p LED light source with XGIMI OS) and this is miles ahead on every front: - The 4k resolution matters incredibly when projecting at 110'' (280cm diagonal) like I am doing. - The optical zoom is amazing to tailor the projector to your exact space, avoiding the wasted pixels of digital zoom that my original Elfin Flip relied on (at 1080p you really felt the resolution take a hit). - I am seeing triple to quadruple the brightness compared to my original Elfin Flip side-by-side, which makes it usable during the day in a shaded room, or at nights with the lights completely on. Of course dimming or turning off the lights reveals the true potential of this little beast. - Colour accuracy and HDR10 support make every content look incredible. - The optics/light source/DLP chip (I'm not sure which one, although I guess it's a combination of the 3) are incredibly precise, with very little chromatic abberations / color fringing. Similarly, even at a slight angle from my wall (I am projecting at about at 30° horizontal angle from being completely perpendicular/dead on), the edge sharpness remains excellent. - The pixels are actually angled at 45°, so that they are diamonds not squares, which I find very smart to reduce screen door effect as it doesn't align with the square pixels of the content. - I can notice some laser speckle, it's slightly annoying but worth the quality of the image compared to my OG Elfin Flip. This is also probably not something a more expensive Laser model could fix, so I don't hold it against it. I am projecting onto a white wall, no projector screen, so that might contribute. - EDBL is a very nice to have, although it's implementation is not perfect and it sometimes takes a few seconds to return to full brightness, it does help in dark scenes to preserve details and contrast. - Setup was relatively quick (Google TV standard setup). The Google TV OS is very capable, albeit riddled with ads/recommendations. - Auto focus is not 100% perfect, but gets you 99.5% of the way there and would be completely sufficient for slightly smaller screen sizes. I did a few tiny adjustments with the manual focus to get it perfect. - Auto keystone and auto zoom is adequate, I had to do a few manual tweaks to get it to the size and position I wanted. - The physical design of the projector is something I really like, similarly to the original Elfin Flip. The "gimbal" gives a lot of flexibility to position the image where you want it, and it makes it easily stowable and easy to move (and I guess portable if you wanted to take it somewhere). - The remote takes 2 AAA batteries (included) and some keys are backlit. I find it intuitive and it has a nice feeling in the hand. I do wish it was USB-C rechargeable though. - The built-in speaker is decent I guess. But I use external Bluetooth speakers so haven't tested it extensively. Manual adjustments for Bluetooth speaker delay are available in the settings, but the default value works great with no visible/audible delay. - Fan noise is very minimal and not noticeable with content playing (the projector is 50cm away from my head and it doesn't bother me). Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase. For the current (as of time of writing this) price of £740 I find it to be good value for money. You can get better by spending more, but I don't feel the need to (I might still be in the honeymoon phase though, but that's just me).

Movie nights at home are now so much better
We set this projector up in our bedroom and projected it straight onto a white roller blind. Once the room was darkened, the picture was incredibly sharp and bright, much better than I was expecting. Watching movies this way feels surprisingly close to having a home cinema. The automatic setup made it quick to get going without spending ages adjusting the image, and the built-in speaker is perfectly fine for casual viewing. I also like that it’s portable enough to move to another room if we want a bigger screen elsewhere in the house. It’s been a fun addition for family movie nights, and I’m really impressed with how well it performs.

Je recommande !
Super projecteur, prix justifié par la qualité ! Se règle automatiquement dès qu'il est bougé de place, s'allume directement sur Google TV et toutes les applications de streaming et surtout grande qualité d'image avec possibilité de regarder la journée

Buy it! Better than expected.
I knew it wouldn’t be as sharp as the more expensive models, but the visual experience during both the day and night still exceeded my expectations. The sound is quiet, making it perfect for a small room without being disruptive. Setup was incredibly easy, and the smart features are impressive. I just got it last night, and within minutes, I was already watching a movie—absolutely love it! The design looks great, and the height adjustment is super convenient. Don’t hesitate—just get it!

Best product for home use at this price
My folirst propert review 1. Xgimi elfin is the best in home projectors Enough brightness in ambient light and excellent picture quality in low light or dark room. 2. My pre sales experience was amazing , I called there cutsiner care and fixed a live demo on video call which led me to buy elfin amd saved a lot of money. I was wanted to by mogo 4 but clearly fir my use case elfin flip was good enough. They create a home type environment for you and this helps you choose the best product. There sales and technical team well equipped to answer all your questjoms and gives you enough timeb. Anyone buyi xgimi this is must do. 3. No latency while watching cricket matches. 4. Unlike local projectors like wzatco auto key stone and auto actually works. I kept the elfin on left side of the room at an angle at 2.5 fr height to projector at centre. First it gives you the optimised corrected size. One can correct this using the manual keystone and oictire qualty is still good. 5. Blutooth works perfect with my bose speakers. Elfin speakers aren't that great for my use case. 6. Easy set up , just a plug and play. Super happy. At this price you won't get such qualty product with great built and after and pre sales experience.
