I’ve used electric salt and pepper grinders for quite some time. No, I’m not lazy. Electric grinders are much more consistent and predictable than manual grinders. There is a downside if you must have uniform particles. Grinders do not screen the results, so there is a variation of particle size in each grind.No tool is perfect, but these Circle Joy grinders solve problems that have vexed me with other grinders. First off, the “run” button is the whole top of these grinders. All of the others that I've used have a button on the side. Usually located right where I grab the grinder when someone says, “Pass the salt.”All grinders and mills that I have used, manual or electric, make you adjust the grind size by turning the machine base up and then tightening or loosening the actual grinding disks. Too much trouble and mess. These Circle Joy grinders use a ring around the base to change the size. I’ve included a photo showing the extremes. Course isn’t too course, and fine is a bit chunkier than I would like. BUT, at the table, family members have found their individual sweet spots.We’ve left the speed on low. I’m looking forward to using high speed at Thanksgiving and other occasions where I’ve got a huge surface to cover with salt and pepper.Perfect? Nope. Still cumbersome to fill. Deceptive since the canister looks huge, but the drive shaft coming up the middle means you have to aim carefully and/or use a funnel. And might still have a bit of a mess. The grinders fit the base with very little slop, which means that when you are using the boarding-house-reach, you will likely tip the whole thing over. Those two gripes are really nit picky.These grinders are excellent and should be on your shopping list.

Love the LED light on these salt shakers. Easy to use just press a button and it dispenses. The shakers never leave any extra salt/pepper, it shuts off after you stop pressing the button. Would be a great gift for anyone with arthritis or any elderly who cannot manage the traditional twist pepper grnders. Comes with a storage base which is handy. Sink washable as well.

I've been turned off by past experiences with battery grinders that last a little bit but then start to fall apart. Or ones that can't even grind peppercorns well.CIRCLE JOY's grinder set is a game changer for us. Everyone in our house is surprised as to how well it grinds things with easy to adjust coarseness. We've had to adjust how long we hold the button down vs our old grinders as this one works great.Very pleased!

This is one of those "where has this been" type purchases. My wife and I like rock sea salt and pepper corns for seasoning. So far, when I cook say a steak or a roast, it's just about impossible to season them without giving myself carpel tunnel or something. These come along and solve that problem handily. Guests take a look, turn green with envy, and I can just about hear them arguing with each other for why they didn't think of this first. I really like this and get good use out of it.5 stars for me.

I have some gravity ones and I liked them, but they became messy. And they took sooo many batteries. Got these and will not get anymore. Rechargeable - yes, please. And it's usb-c, so even if you happen to lose the charger , which it comes with 2 cords, who doesn't have another laying around somewhere? Came out of the box with a charge and have not had to charge them yet - 2 weeks. Has a lock and unlock feature so it's easy to fill and make sure they are secured. Even has a little countertop acrylic holder to keep them organized. Lightweight, even when filled all the way and the push button takes little effort.

I absolutely love this set. Not only are they sleek and modern in design, but they are just terribly easy to use. The fact that they are rechargeable is a plus because I don't ever have to worry about finding batteries.The grinders work like a charm, quickly and efficiently salting and peppering my meals to perfection every time. The adjustable speed and coarseness setting are also a nice touch that allow me to customize the grind to my liking.Overall, I couldn't be happier with the set. 5 stars all day long!

I have another set of this auto-grinders and these are really great. First off, they are rechargeable which is so convenient. You never have to deal with batteries, and can let them charge overnight.They are well made and are so easy to use right out of the box. What I love especially about these are you can set not only the speed that you want to grind at, but the level of coarseness. This is so handy for cooking and depending on if you’re using it for hot dishes, or cold. I also love that it has a light built in, so when you activate, you can see exactly how much you are adding to food.My only negative is that they don’t come with individual covers for the bottom, so you have to keep them in the enclosed tray that comes with it. This won’t work for on the dinner table, but certainly fine as an addition to the counter near where you prep or cook.
