PRUVEEO Smart Acc Hardwire Kit, 12V- 30V to 5V 2A/3A, Intelligent and Adjustable Low Voltage Protection for Dash Cam, HWK-08

Just bought another one of these after about 2 years of use. I have been tracking down an intermittent parasitic draw on my battery and I noticed that my dashcam was coming up with an intermittent warning about a power state change while my truck was not running. The dashcam would then fully power up and not go into standby mode. I will have to wait to see if this helps. But this new one has a digital display rather than a three way switch. Maybe it's built better.

Works great, don't use a dash cam without this setup. I highly recommend it

I ordered this optional kit for my PRUVEEO 360 Degree View 4 Channel Dash Cam, just in case it gets out of stock and I regret not getting one. But I don't think that I'm going to use it as my car doesn't worth the effort. ;) Based on the camera, I trust that this is a high quality kit as well, so I rated it 5/5.

This is an awesome dash cam because of the ease of pointing the cameras in the direction that you want. I have 2 cams pointing out my side windows which other dash cams do not have this feature they have out the front and out the rear and or interior. I purchased this with the hard wire kit which makes it great in parking mode. Installation was very easy I set it up to go video out my side windows along with out the rear and out the front. Great little dash cam especially for the price you can't beat it with having four channels.

Easy to install

It keeps the dashcam on, however it is unable to cutoff the voltage. Even after setting above 12V, the hardwire kit keeps draining the battery. This drain causes malfunctions in the car trunk sensor, making the car system think the car trunk is getting opened. When I went on vacation for memorial day weekend, I got a call from the police that my car alarm was ringing for hours. It rang until the car battery was completely drained and I had to call a tow truck when I came back from vacation. The car alarm was caused by the car thinking it was getting broken into due to the low voltage causing the car trunk sensor to act up. When I removed this hardwire kit, I no longer got error messages that say my trunk was getting opened.

This ACC kit for the dash cameras is worth the purchase. It keeps the battery from draining to empty. It is easy to install, especially with the video tutorial. I personally can't stand having to think about turning on my camera every time I drive. But with this, I never have to think about it anymore. I know it's recording when I turn my car off and automatically turns the camera to parking monitor when I get out. Well worth the piece of mind.
