It's how i can attach my case to my keys to practically carry them and never loose/forget about them. Also, I play testing dropping the case with and without the mold, I can confidently say that WITH this mold on it helps the case closed when dropped, meaning it is less likely to open and scatter to earbuds to god know where. (Which happened to to my last pair i owned.) You wont regret getting it, it helps keep your case and earbuds safe for a good price, and having the carabiner clip just make it far more practical by attaching it to you keys, bag, or purse. IMO it is a MUST
