I wanted a heater with an adjustable temperature as the pre-set one I was formerly using wasn't keeping my tank warm enough. This heater is compact which is perfect for my 5 gallon tank. It is very easy to set the temp. It is is also very accurate and keeps my tank at a consistent 78°F. Very happy with the quality and value of this product so far.

It works well with my Chihiros A series that is not bluetooth-connected. It sets timer for my light so I don’t have to worry about my aquarium when I’m working. The product quality is outstanding and the control is very easy to work with.

I have this for my 6.6 gallon tank with glofish. I've had it about 3 months now and it works great. Easy to set up, sticks to the glass wall well, temperature is always accurate. I highly recommend this products for the price.

I won't give it 5 stars until I've used it for a while. I'm actually using the 50 watt in my 20 gallon tank, because I've read so many stories of people nuking their fish. I put it on one end, which isn't ideal, but the other 3 sides are viewing sides. So one side of my tank is a few degrees below the temperature I set the heater to, (I set it to 78 and the actual water temp is 74) and the other side is a couple degrees cooler than that. (I have a thermometer at each end.) But honestly this heater so far seems like it might be up to the task of heating a 20 gallon a few degrees in this fashion. When I put my hand in and feel it while it's heating, it doesn't feel overly warm at all. Very gentle heating. Will update later.EDIT: Got a second one in case of failure, put them both on one end and set them both to 75, tank sits around 74 on that end and 72 on the other. Room temp is usually 70 or less. No issues so far. I saw a pygmy cory sleeping on top of one of the heaters.EDIT 2: okay I got another 50watt for my new 10 gallon tank, so now I have 3 of these things. Will update later if they fail, or in a few years if they last and I like them.

Have to say we’re heading into day 5 of no power from Hurricane Helene. We’re projected to be out for another 1-2 weeks. I’ve had tanks running on a generator that’s needed to be turned on and off multiple times a day to refill with extension cords everywhere. Not ideal but trying to keep 11 tanks up and running in the dark. I’ve lost heaters in the past to much less and have been so impressed with how this is handling the strain.

I’ve been using this product since September 5, 2024. It is in my 5 1/2 gallon tank. I tested the water temperature against this heater with my own thermometer and it properly maintains the chosen heat level. It hovers between 79 and 80 which is ideal for my needs. It stays attached to the glass (loosely but it hasn’t just fallen off at least). No complaints as of right now.

This heater is perfect. The temperature control is fantastic and it's easy to use. The water temperature stays intact and is really easy to control temperature. Hugger makes great products for aquarium. I tried some of their other accessories and it's great.

J'ai acheté pour une 5 gallons/20L.C'est dans une pièce quand même chauffé. L'écart de température entre la pièce et la température souhaitée de l'eau est légère, il a pourtant du mal à garder la température stable.Réglé à 77 il fluctue constamment entre 72 et 82, même à l'intérieur d'une même heure.Je l'ai quand même gardé parce que je n'avais pas envie de me casser la tête pour les échanges et que je me suis dit que pour conditionner l'eau pour les changements d'eau ça serait ok, mais j'ai remis un AQQA dans mon aquarium.
