I have a fancy watch which I rarely if ever wear as I use my Coros Apex 2 (42mm) more often than not. My bands needed replacement and I chose yo try this clasp style for when I'm not using a more rustic band which I use for trail running or running ultramarathons.I have a 5.5 inch wrist so the clasping at the 4th to the last hole worked best for me as far as comfort goes, not being tight, and not getting in the way of sensors.
