For some years I have used adhesive shades on my Sony 6000 series mirrorless kit, but with a very narrow adhesive margin they are liable to come unstuck - and will not then reliably re-stick - and until I stumbled on Larmor I could find no equivalent for the larger screens on my RX series compacts. The clever bit - which is nowhere properly explained in the product literature - is that the shade attaches to the screen protector - hence to the screen itself - magnetically! The protector has a metallised border, the shade contains some tiny but remarkably powerful magnets and voila! In normal use the shade isn't easily dislodged, but at need it can be removed and reattached without difficulty.
