ARKANTOS Foldable Pilates Reformer, Pilates Machine & Equipment for Home use I Suitable for Beginners and Intermediate Users

This was a good investment for me because I don’t have to keep spending hundreds for classes. It came in 3 days early and was easy to set up though you might need assistance from another person. Keep in mind that it does take up some space so make sure you have enough room to move around before you purchase. It feels very sturdy and works fantastic for the price. I do find that putting on and taking off the springs can be difficult since all the springs resists heavily and may snap on your fingers if you’re not careful. My only complaint is how I am 5’0 yet I struggle to fit length-wise sometimes. My head doesn’t fully fit on the head rest part and juts out a little when I lay down. I wish they extended the head rest further out. Also, the part where your body lays on is very short compared to the reformers in class. I can’t imagine anyone being taller than 5’2 will fit comfortably on this reformer. Other than that, it works well so far!

Firstly I would like to start with WHY I love this, the bands on the machine are super strong, I can’t even push the reformer out when all of them are in. So I LOVE that. The machine is quiet and sturdy. I love that it comes with small foam pads that protects my floor from any scratches. I’m 5’2 145 pounds. It works well with my height and weight. It folds up nicely which I can store in a closet so it’s not in the way at all. The foot bar it also very sturdy! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS 10/10 I did originally receive a machine that was faulty however customer service was wonderful in making sure that we worked together to resolve that issue and I did receive a new machine with no issues. Communication with them was 10/10. My main draw backs is that it’s a little on the heavier side so folding it up on your own may be difficult, but it does have wheels so moving it from room to room isnt to bad. due to it being bands and not springs it doesn’t move quite as smoothly as a reformer at club Pilates but is just a quiet, so in my eyes it’s comparable (Also I enjoy no longer paying the outrageous membership cost) If you have any kind of hesitation I hope this clears any hesitations you may have. I’m 1000% pro purchase of this item

This is a good reformer for the price. It is light weight, so does not stay in place for off-reformer exercises with heavier springs. Also, all the springs are the same weight so flexibility is limited. But, the price is great to get in basic pilates workouts without the bells and whistles.

Delivery was fast. Honestly, the set up wasn’t hard to do. I was able to do it by myself. The instruction manual does not tell you how to tighten the strings, but all you have to do is loosen the knob under the platform and pull the string taut and put the knob back on (it’s in a bit of an awkward location). Unfortunately, at my height, I’m not able to do a full range of motion when I’m pulling my feet to the bar. The shoulder pads aren’t that comfortable either, so I’m not sure how to problem-solve that. I might buy something to wrap around it. Overall, decent quality for the price.

It’s a beautiful reformer. Looks exactly like the picture. I will say that the headrest is a little short, if you are used to longer headrests this makes some exercises a little uncomfortable. The rest of the reformer is in alignment. However, the customer service team was very responsive, kind, and gave me a few solutions. I really appreciate that, and shows me they back their product with integrity. All in all, if the headrest is not your concern, this reformer is wonderful in every other way! I love waking up and doing my Pilates, and I love legs in straps. The leather is easy to wipe if anything gets on It.
