Ribiland 07376 - Telescopic Lance with Double Aluminum Nozzle - Silver

The wand arrived well packed and complete -- An Excellent piece of Kit light weight and well-constructed. In the pack was a Brass connector to be used inside the primary / first major joint from the Valve input end of the wand– a very, very good idea this gives this joint a lot of support / strength. On the base inlet end of the Valve Handle a nipple protrudes. To that we fitted a length of 8mm ID pipe. To the other end, of the pipe, we fitted the Male End of a Gas Coupling -- A pair can be bought through Amazon for £6:69 delivered To the Spray we fitted the Female end. To our short Lance we fitted the other Male Coupling. While the sprayer is under pressure it can be uncoupled from the two lances we have and still retain the pressure of the sprayer --- there is a shut off valve integral to the female end of the coupling and will only open when the Male end is inserted / coupled.

It extends a long way, but is quite wobbly at full extension. Seems sturdy enough though. The main issue is attaching it to sprayers. I have 2 and neither fitted. However thx to a suggestion by J Spicer, this works ok: Ribimex (392) RIBIMEX PRPC8X Adapter It leaked a little but some PTFE solved that. I do think that the adapter should be included though.

Constantly leaked with solution pouring from telescopic joints. Unable to maintain a mist spray. Litres of expensive solution wasted. All round an expensive failure. Poor at best.. Don't waste your hard earned cash😩

This item was quite good , works very well and would definitely recommend.

Used to spray high gable end wall with surface sealer to prevent water penetration. No scaffold or ladder required to reach upper part of wall. Used with normal garden pressure spray pump

Before you make a purchase check that this item will connect with your particular sprayer and be warned that communication with Ribimex is not good! Yes, there is an adaptor but even that does not fit all sprayers. To avoid returns and frustrated customers Amazon should make the company compile a list of which sprayers fit directly with their lance and another list of what sprayers fit directly to the adapter (screw fit and not a pipe fitting as this is prone to leakage).

The description was very brief but I took a chance and ordered it. I needed a long spray lance to reach the top of my apple trees with bug sprays. This indeed does the job - it comes in two parts, the second length with the nozzle is telescopic. So you get about 2.5m when the two lengths are assembled, and longer if you decide to extend the telescopic bit. It seems to work well with my hand pump sprayer - the sprayer is the standard 5L sort and there was no problem delivering the spraying liquid to 2.5m height (I haven’t used the telescopic feature). But ... ... here is my only complaint. The inlet to the spray handle is huge, with a large wart at the end. It makes sense as you want a tight seal around the hose and inlet but the wart is so big that I had considerable difficulty attaching my standard 5L hand pump sprays (I have two different ones) to the inlet. I had to perform minor surgery with a Stanley knife by paring the wart down a few mm which worked, except that now the seal wasn’t perfect and it started to leak. I fixed that with a bit of gorilla tape. By the way the box says the hose should be 10x15mm - whatever that means! It’s expensive but I think it’s well worth the money rather than clambering up a step ladder.

Gewoon erg handig op grotere hoogte. Voldoet prima. Helemaal uitgeschoven zorgen dat hij niet knikt, in horizontale houding.
