This fan is almost exactly the same as the more expensive spider farmers style fan system. The controller works great. The instructions are not the greatest but if you youtube instructions for the spider farmers model it will help you learn this one bc they are the same. Holding up and down arrows will turn the setting off for each setting so if you dont want the alarm on for example just switch to that setting and hold arrow up n down and then it turns it off. Other than that its pretty simple to figure out and my tent has maintained 74 degrees since installing it. Finally a good purchase that was worth the $ spent. So I highly recommend this item

Very easy to assemble, very, very quiet. Can have it on and work on my computer at the same time with no noise pollution. I use it to exhaust my smoke from smoking to the outside without having to use an air cleaner or fan.

Actually really good quiet the fan speeds great for any size tent actually came with an extra carbon filter just got it so don't know how long it's going to last but it's been set up for almost 3 months and it's worked great and very easy to set up

should have purchased the 6 inch inline fan for my tent. strong fan but not enough to cause negative pressure on my 2x4x5 tent even with the carbon filter off. it just doesn’t pull enough air.. hard to keep my humidity down as low as I need to during flowering stage. Over all it is decent. Pricing is great. If the vent hose didn't rip apart so easily and didn't immediately cause the air flow to be almost nothing it would be 5 stars.

Been running it for a week now and so far so good. I love how compact the fan is and it came with a good size carbon filter so it’s less air resistance on the small 6w 4” fan. Super quiet too, you can barely hear it when you’re just around the corner (see, or should I say hear video). The 130 cfm rating on the fan seems to be plenty for my little 2’x3’x5’ tent cuz it’s workin like a champ so far at half speed, and still quiet at full speed. Great value and easy functionality with the speed dial. Fan is mostly plastic but sturdy. Only complaint is the ducting is a little smaller than the end of the fan it goes onto, so I really had to twist it to open it up enough to wiggle it on there but no big deal. Would still buy again, no reason to spend more.

Fan, coupler and hangers get 5 stars. Filter and hose get 3 stars (Filter is inadequate for efficient scrubbing during flower and hose is easy to tear).

Did not come with fitting for the fan to exhaust, cheap materials but decent for price.
