These skates feel and glide like butter on glass and even cloth. Not only are they a great price for 40 skates but they are quality skates aswell. I have heard these are a great alternative to obsidian skates and I haven’t tried them yet but I think its true. They are very fast and smooth which feels great. Durability is kind of mid though not the worst not the best but for the price its worth it.

I was shocked how good they are. I own over 5 glass pads and multiple steel pads. Definitely made for hard pads. I have Wallhack dots, TJ Exclusives PlastX Dots, Ghostglides Cyclone, Xray Jade Air, Xray Obsidian, Xray Obsidian Air, Xray Obsidian Air Pro, Unusual Way Silver Fox, Unusual Way Black Fox, BTL Dots, Jade Dots, Corepad Dots, Nitro Factory Dots, Artisan Dots and more. Literally have tried every skate possible in glass. The Hystars are up there with the best I've tried. I wrote them off at first because of the cheap price and the fact I've only seen them on Amazon. It was a huge mistake. They feel great, perfectly balanced for me on a glass pad. They aren't scratchy and have an incredibly smooth glide. There are options that will last you longer but for the price, these can't be beat. Hoping Hystar comes up with a V2 and somehow makes them even better. Waiting for their glass pad in the mail this week. High hopes for the pad after trying these skates.

Functionality as skates, they're fine. They stuck fine, had a decent glide. However they are quite noisey. I thought maybe it was just how skates and glass pads where. But then I tried the Ice v2 cause I didn't like this noise and its a night and day difference. Maybe I got a bad batch but yeah, it was a very noisey experience. Edit: After this review, they contacted me and offered a full refund. So I gotta say, their customer support is top notch. I'll probably edit this review one more time in the future, once my new pad "Phantom" ships to see how these perform on a higher end pad. So I'll be keeping these skates on one of my mouses until then.

Requires a very short break in when new. Then they get even faster, smoother, and quieter on my glass pad. Price to performance I would recommend these over other brands. Solid well performing option for glass users.

Very good need to buy more

These were a game changer! My mouse glides so easily with them! With my lap desk, my mouse will even slide right off if it gets tilted a little— which doesn’t bother me, but just pointing out how easily they glide. I used five, but four would have worked. I use them with an aluminum mouse pad, and they work great. I think they might wear out more quickly since I’m not using the intended mouse pad with them, but I’ll just replace them since you get so many in the pack. Edit to add: I’ve been using these on my aluminum mouse pad for 6 months now and haven’t needed to change them out yet. Still working like a charm!

I thought it would work with their mousepad but it didn't It's the same skate that come with my mouse

Apparently I missed the mention of these being designed for Glass pads. Not to fear though, they actually work splendidly for my old G700s on a Coolermaster MP510 pad. Glides way smoother than the stock skates. One other thing is that I didn't count on these being as small as they are. Each dot measuring only 6mm across. This might be a performative benefit in terms of surface area contact for all I know. The only thing I'm weary on is how long they last. Will update in a year.

Bon pad pour souris, je les utilisent pour un tapis de souris en verre (SP-004) et la glisse est incroyable. Le bruit est fortement réduit face a d'autre marque c'est un bon point. Cependant, je dois les changer tous les 15jours. C'est beaucoup je trouve, ils s'usent extrêmement vite.
