Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini

A very nice little phone. The service was 100% excellent as they sent a replacement charging cable ASAP. Thanks again guys.

Bought tis for my daughter to replace her hard worked S3 mini. This is a rather nice phone and much better than the S3 mini, but my daughter complained that the wi-fi kept dropping out? This is one common problem that a lot of S5s & S5 minis have with intermittent wireless internet connection. After browsing the internet I discovered that when using the Android 5 lollypop OS the phone will constantly disconnect from the wireless connection after a few minutes and then a manual reconnect is required to connect again repeatedly time after time. I tried several fixes, including a complete reset, switching off smart switch, wiping data cache among several other fixes. Eventually after 2 hours, when I had tried just about every fix and was about to throw in the towel and send the phone back I tried one last time to check the Wi-Fi connection was stable, and somehow, with some good luck managed to sort the problem out and now the S5 mini has a stable wi-fi connection. I was just about to return the phone as faulty. Don't ask me what the fix was, all I know is I got it. So beware with the S5 using Android 5 lollypop with intermittent Wi-Fi connections. My daughter loves this phone now and that's great. Phew.

I liked the small size and if it had worked I would have kept it. But when I ran into problems and checked with Samsung support I found device warranty expired in February 2018. So goodness knows how long it had been in stock before I bought it. None of the apps could be updated and the phone did not work as it could not detect the brand new sim I put in it. I bought a new dumb phone direct from Nokia and that detected the same sim with full signal strength. Kudos to Amazon for giving me a full refund.

This phone is perfect it came brand new as stated the only down part the manual is in french, just got it yesterday haven't uses it as i'm sending it away to another country once they start using it I will come back and give a better review

.. not about the refurbishment, but about the Samsung model itself.. not as good as the S4 mini

I was looking for a low cost mini-phone with basic features and this seemed ideal. But the phone has been sold with Android version 4.4 KitKat which has not been supported by Google for some time and is impossible to update. This creates multiple problems, both real and potential, devaluing the phone far below the purchase price. Perhaps I should have done more homework but I believe that the product description should disclose such a fundamental shortcoming.

I bought this phone, but it is in a sad state, I received it scratched and without accessories, not even the charger was delivered to me ... Very disappointed

Article acheté un dimanche soir et reçu mardi matin dans ma boîte aux lettres, rapidité inégalable et stupéfiante, emballage soigné! Etat du téléphone jugé bon état et reçu impeccable comme neuf! Bémol, le chargeur est noir et non d'origine (sans marque) j'aurais souhaité qu'on me le précise avant achat. Dès réception quelques appréhensions, difficile de retrouver le téléphone que je connaissais, réglages basiques, bip sons touche horribles impossible à couper etc... ensuite après quelques heures de réglages, de configuration perso, appareil au top, comme mon précédant acheté neuf, ouf! D'ordre plus générale, le samsung s5 mini est le Must, c'est mon chouchou depuis que je l'ai découvert je ne jure que par lui, imbattable sur le rapport qualité/prix et sur les possibilités dont il dispose. Il est de bon format, d'utilisation simple comme plus performante si on sait bien le configurer. (En sachant être curieux, prendre le temps d'aller visiter les réglages paramètres ex: sensibilité tactile etc...) Mini et efficace! Samsung est passé au 7 et le 5 reste fort sur le marché, moi qui le suit je constate que son prix d'occasion d'ailleurs oscillerait même à la hausse! Pour les acheteurs de produits d'occasion qui ne connaissent pas le(s) produit(s) original(ux), gardez une certaine vigilance ou réserve! Il y a trop de confusion à faire entre un article acheté neuf en boutique officielle, un (mal) reconditionné, un (mal) réparé, et tous ces produits de sous catégories, contrefaçons vendues par des peu scrupuleux bricoleurs voire arnaqueurs que vous recevez chez vous comme étant "le produit original" mais qui n'a plus rien d'origine mise à part la façade et la batterie... Forcément déçu vous ne jugerez cependant qu'une copie... et c'est dommage pour le produit. ;-)

bestes Handy der Welt, heute werden solche kleinen nicht mehr produziert, nur schwere große Ziegelsteine oder inkompatible i-phones

Excelente telefono, el unico problema es que trae bloqueo regional, solo funciona en europa, pero para ocuparlo en otro continente tuve que pagar adicional por los codigos de desbloque en [...], deben informar que fue comprado en españa. saludos ojala la info le serva a alguien.

Ich habe dieses Smartphone bestellt, weil ich ein kompaktes Gerät haben wollte, das man in der Hosentasche tragen kann. Ich hatte vorher ein S4 mini, das aber nur mit Android 4.4 lief und nicht erweiterbar war. Das S5 mini war äußerlich wie erwartet, nur entludt sich der Akku in 6-7 Stunden, so dass ich das Gerät ständig nachladen musste. Nach Reklamation und Rücksendung des Geräts erhielt ich ein neues S5 mini, das allerdings denselben Effekt aufwies. Akku war wiederum nach 6 Stunden leer, ohne dass GPS oder andere stromfressende Apps eingeschaltet waren. Stromsparmodus änderte gar nichts. Scheint typisch für diese Serie zu sein. Große Enttäuschung! Habe jetzt ein Galaxy A3, das zwar etwas größer ist, dafür aber einwandfrei funktioniert.
