Barsys 360 Cocktail Maker Machine (Black) : Smart Margarita Machine & Home Bartender Drink Maker for Cocktails, Mixed Drinks, and Mocktails

We got a Barsys Coaster last year and we find the combination of the Coaster and the new Barsys 360 a great way to satisfy different use cases. Some friends have a Bartesian but we are really happy with the Barsys devices because unlike the Bartesian devices, there are no pods to buy and with the Barsys app and hardware, you can make any drink you want exactly the way you want from whatever ingredients you have on hand in your bar or kitchen. As cocktail newbies, we found using the Coaster to experiment and try out new drinks and to tailor drinks to our particular tastes really easy and simple with the Barsys app - initially, there were some bugs and annoying things with the UX/UI of the app, but almost all of these have been fixed in the latest updates and we've enjoyed exploring and discovering new drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and using the Coaster. The content on the app is also getting a lot better and more and more recipes and mixlists are available which makes it fun to use the devices. We find the main use cases for the Barsys 360 to be: 1) once you know your "signature" drinks/cocktails, the Barsys 360 is awesome at hosting events and parties where you can showcase these. The 360 allows you to host but not have to be the bartender all night - so you can enjoy the party instead of mixing drinks; 2) while perishable ingredients like juices, and some mixers can't be left in the machine for long periods of time, anything with a decent shelf-life can be left in and having the ability to push a button and have a nice Negroni tailored to your own tastes on demand is pretty awesome. Loading, flushing and cleaning aren't too much of a hassle with the app if you want a more complicated drink but that's why we also have a Coaster! One thing that we'd like to see to make the experience better is the ability to see a shopping list for the mix lists and to have a "starter" kit or kits that you can order with the device (or from nearby stores) so that the friction points of the out-of-the box experience are removed. When we first got the 360, we didn't take it out of the box for a few weeks because we didn't know what we should put in the reservoirs to best make drinks we liked - once we solved that problem, it was a lot easier to want to use the device. The best thing about the Barsys ecosystem vs competing products is the lack of "lock-in" to have to buy their pods and the flexibility to create whatever drinks you want. The company has made great strides in updating the UX/UI of the mobile app and the content and seeing this evolution has made the investment in the hardware worthwhile. Looking forward to seeing what else is coming....

The Barsys 360 Cocktail Maker is such a fun and unique cocktail maker. I like to host, so this is the perfect addition to my hosting routine. The machine is easy to use and the app makes it a seamless experience. It also really love the design- it adds as a beautiful element in my living room! I’m also so impressed by the number of different drinks I can make. I think this machine is good for both the inexperienced and the one who knows how to make drinks but wants to cut the time it takes in half!

I purchased this Cocktail Maker to assist with entertaining and providing consistent quality drinks (it didn’t disappoint). The system delivered consistent, precise, quality drinks. It eliminated constant calls to make drinks (to ensure consistency). An eloquent solution, with very little wasted counter space. The app was easy to use and even recommended new drinks to use with current ingredients. Very Happy with my purchase

**EDIT 05/03/25: Upgrading this review from a 3 star to a 4 star. I finally got my new machine in the mail yesterday. They fully covered the replacement machine and it came with a power block this time too. **UPDATE: Customer service really sucks. If you read through the review you'll see I started a claim with the Barsy support team on March 27th. Originally, it was constant feedback but the basic support team could not help me so I was transferred to their supervisor and that's when things went downhill. Everything is done via email. It took an entire week before the "supervisor" even got back to me, which resulted in a "please try a different outlet and see if that fixes the machine". It did not, and I told them that the day afterword's. Which I then didn't get a response for another 15 days. On Day 14 I got fed up. To put things into perspective, my "case" started March 27th, it was officially resolved April 24th. April 23rd, like stated, I was fed up and voiced my frustrations. The next day I received an email, that they are sending me a new machine and they will send me a tracking number once it ships. Today is April 26th, no tracking number yet but the problem is resolved finally. **** This would be a five star review but we have run into some frustrating complications. I will update the progress if there's any resolutions to be seen. The machine itself is amazing, every drink comes out perfectly. There's a large list of drinks available to make and it seems like they update their drink list quite often. You can also save/create your own drink if you like too. Cleaning the machine is a little strange but not awful. It is a big machine so you do need some counter space to set it up. When you get the machine the mixing cup does not come with it, once you register the machine via the app they then send the cup to you. You do not get any tracking information on the cup but it does eventually arrive. The cup is cool but I wish I could add ice to the cup while its mixing. FYI you don't need the special mixing cup to use the machine, you can use any household cup you have. The machine comes with a power cable, looks like an android phone cable and its suppose to come with a power block. Mine did not. I stole my husbands phone power block to use the machine. I find that where you plug the cable into the machine is a very inconvenient spot. It is extremely easy to overfill station F and have liquid go down towards the power outlet. The power outlet should be in a different spot to avoid this. So if you are reading this and have the machine, use extreme caution when filling station F. Overall, before the issue I'm having which I will state below, I use the machine everyday. It makes the perfect drink and its pretty straight forward. Guests love watching it work. Our most recent issue started March 26th 2025. We've been using the machine since thanksgiving of 2024. You turn the machine on, hook it up via Bluetooth, select your drink, it turns green which means "place your cup", you place the cup and it spits out 0.25oz of liquor and then says it has been disconnected from the Bluetooth. After that it either does the same thing for the rest of the night or it says "place your cup" and doesn't register that your cup is sitting on the machine. Contacted customer support at Barsy March 27th, at first I was impressed, they emailed back right away, tried to troubleshoot it for me, but now we are on the stage of the machine just doesn't work so is it covered by warranty or not. It has been radio silence since this stage. I have sent follow up emails to see what is going to be done, to see if it is covered or not, I have also called multiple times. It's been a week and they keep saying a "supervisor" is handling the case now and will get back to me when there's an answer. If its not covered by warranty will I buy another one? Most likely, but before I do I don't want to waste my money if its covered by a warranty. For a $425 machine that only lasted about 4ish months, I would really hope there is one. However, I do love my machine.

Oh, Barsys 360, you glorious catastrophe, you. This “automatic bartender” is less a cocktail maker and more a diabolical plot to soak your kitchen in sticky regret while testing your will to live. Setup is a marathon of misery—over 4 hours of pure, unadulterated torture. The app? It’s like a cruel prank coded by a gremlin with a vendetta. Glitchy, unintuitive, and so infuriating, I had to “delete and restart” more times than I’ve rage-quit video games. By hour three, I was ready to yeet this thing into the neighbor’s yard and call it a day. The ingredient situation is a laughable disaster. Six reservoirs? That’s it? What am I supposed to make with six measly ingredients—sad water with a splash of despair? Your cocktail dreams are DOA because the limited selection boxes you into a corner. Want variety? Tough luck, pal. It’s like being handed a kiddie menu at a gourmet restaurant. Then there’s the hardware, a shoddily built monument to disappointment. We poured orange juice into one of the reservoirs, visions of tequila sunrises in our heads, only to witness a biblical flood of citrus carnage. Counter? Submerged. Cabinets? Ruined. Floor? A sticky swamp of sadness in this never ending story. We cracked it open, and surprise—a tube was just chilling, unconnected, like it was on vacation instead of me. This isn’t a machine; it’s a dollar-store toy masquerading as a bartender, with all the quality of a knockoff action figure. Flimsy plastic, wobbly parts, and zero pride in craftsmanship. I’ve seen better engineering in happy meal toys. And don’t get me started on the metric system madness. This thing was clearly designed by someone who thinks Americans measure their drinks in milliliters. Want a clean 1oz pour? Nope! You’re stuck with 0.95 or 1.15, because apparently Barsys can’t be bothered to convert to freedom units. How many millimeters are in an ounce? Nobody cares! Every pour feels like a math test you didn’t study for. The Barsys 360 isn’t a bartender; it’s a prank designed to flood your kitchen, crush your spirit, and mock your measurement system. Save your money, your sanity, and your hardwood floors. Buy a $10 shaker and mix drinks like an American! This overpriced lemon is now sitting at the bottom of a lake, where not even the fish want a drink.

I have a friend of mine that uses the Barsys 360. Whenever I go to his house, we use his system to make drinks, and it is the easiest system to use. So, I went and purchased my own Barsys 360. I recently set it up over the weekend for the 4th of July. Downloaded the app and preloaded the alcohol,sour mixes and juices. Had some friends over and put the Barsys 360 through its paces! Every drink we made came out perfect! Perfect pours for just a solo glass of whiskey to the more complicated mixed drinks with sour mixes and juices. After the night was over and it was time to clean up the Barsys 360, it was so easy to do. I was able to empty all of the booze that wasn't used and put back into their original bottles and clean the lines out. Directions to setup, use and clean are super easy to follow! I would highly recommend this to everyone who would like to be a bartender in their own home during parties!

I first tried the Barsys 360 at a friend's house and was really impressed. I love that the app suggests drink recipes based on the bottles and mixers you already have, so there's always something new to try. Since I host holidays and parties often, it's a great addition to our home bar.

The Barsys 360 is definitely a cool and unique machine, and the drinks come out really good once you figure everything out. The design looks premium and it’s fun to use when having people over. My biggest issue is that it’s not very simple or beginner friendly. It can be confusing knowing which bottles, mixers, and ingredients to load in order to make certain drinks. I expected it to be a little more straightforward and easier to use right away. Once you learn the setup and app, it gets better, but there’s definitely a learning curve. Great concept overall, just wish it was simpler and more user friendly.

Denna cocktail-maskin fungerar utmärkt. Inga kapslar som skall laddas och sedan är svåra att få tag på. Enkel att fylla på, tömma (när man vill byta ingrediens, 6 magasin finns) och rengöra. Appen som hör till har hur många recept som helst, man kan även lägga till egna om man vill. Spara undan favoriter är enkelt liksom egna mixlistor. Receptet kan man läsa på innan om man önskar. För att få ut drinken - tryck bara på knappen! För bästa effekt, se till att få med ”wireless mixer” så slipper ni röra om/skaka. Kan behöva köpas till. Fungerar med ett vanligt glas också men kan då ev. medföra ett moment till. Som vanligt när något är bra så är prislappen den trista delen.
