First impressions of this high vis running light vest was very good. Light weight and easy to put on and adjust. Fits comfortably over shirt of jacket. Running at twilight and into darkness demonstrates the safety benefits - fluorescent belt, reflective strip and LED lights (red to rear and white to front). The rechargeable LED lights have 4 modes: off, fast flash, flash and fixed. I found the fast flash too hectic…and generally set both back and front to flash (maximising battery life). However, when it gets dark, I tend to set the white LED lights to fixed - this provides just enough illumination to run by on dark paths and tracks. Probably not enough light to run on an uneven trail though and additional lights would be recommended.Part of my running route is a twisty unlit narrow road without pavements and occasional vehicles passing in both directions. The reaction of both oncoming and passing vehicles is very positive…slowing and giving me a wide berth. They clearly can see me in plenty of time to take safe, avoiding action. I have walked this route previously with just a torch (or phone light) and the reaction is very different with several close encounters. In this respect this light vest is a life saver.However, the not so good…the easily adjustable shoulder and waist straps do slacken when running which causes the shoulder straps to slip off. When running in steady rain recently, I got home to find the red LED had stopped working. I thought the battery had gone flat but on invesigation I determined that water had got inside the electronic unit. Initially, I thought that the water ingress was through the USB C charging connector (the rubber cover is not a great fit). However, on pulling the electronic unit out of the belt, it was obvious that there was a major design flaw - see photo 1. Around the switch push button, the electronic unit is completely open to water ingress and is not in the slightest waterproof.Fix - I thoroughly cleaned and purged the electronic unit with electrical contact cleaner and allowed it to dry. I then wrapped electrical insulation tape around the electronic unit to completely cover the switch opening and the open end where the wire comes out (photo 2). The switch still functions perfectly with the tape in place and the unit slipped easily back into the pouch on the belt. I have made the same modification to the front white LED electronic unit. Now both should successfully keep the rain out.

A game changer when exorcising in dark or misty conditions. A first class safety aid.

Great running lights bought to replace non-rechargeable version. Early days but v bright. Time will tell how robust they are.

Yes, it's sturdy, well made and makes me visible while I'm riding my horse.

Brilliant product - except ours was faulty , the rear lights didn’t work - but otherwise a great lightweight product that charges easily and would give good visibility when running in the dark or horse riding in winter.

Great hi viz for running and cycling. You can be seen for miles

Only lasted 1.5 runs before the back light broke and didn’t switch on anymore, despite coming off the charger. Front light also very weak. Good when needing to be seen, but not good for seeing.
