I waited a bit before writing this review to try it out multiple times. After a few weeks I can say with confidence that this replacement blade is far superior to the blade that originally came with our Wahl trimmer model 6874. The blade fits perfectly and cuts better than the orignal blade did even when it was brand new. I highly recommend.

This blade fit my Wahl 9888L trimmer. Very happy with it. The screws were very tight, so I used the this new blade only and used the original plastic rotator. The description shows blade length as 1 1/8" but my original was close to 1 1/4" and what arrive ended up being a perfect match. Good value compared to having to buy a complete unit.

The blade technically works, but it is of low quality. It is much more snaggy than the OEM. The blade sheering surface seems duller but the teeth are more pointed. This causes it to often pull hair and worse, will bite into your skin and cut you. (Last time I used it, it snagged and cut my neck 4 times). The OEM advertised this could be be used for sensitive areas. This product absolutely cannot. Save yourself the headache and but the OEM part.

Good works well but did not fit like original product

Got this for the Wahl 3026017. It fits snugly, but doesn't snap in. The guards don't snap either but they do stay on if you shave slowly. This is OK in a pinch if you really need a replacement blade but nowhere near as good as the OEM.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This resembles the oem blade more than the other offerings. It is a very tight snap into place. It replaced a 9686-300 blade where the plastic clip broke during a disassembly to clean. I use this for daily shaving, its not to close and did not create razor bumps or snags. It creates a light stubble look shave. In general, these replacement blades are not well priced. Considering a new trimmer is $33 this is 1/3 the cost. If the trimmer is older than 2-3 yrs it’s better to replace the trimmer, than the blade.

Blades are pointier than the oem ones, which makes them more likely to dig into your skin when using without a guard. I don't think the pointiness of the blades makes them cut any better, as the cutting happens between the two reciprocating blades and not at the ends.

Popped on the new blade. Got the mustache looking good. The reviews say it's difficult to install the blade. For me it was easy like the original blade. Using the blade guides. Slid right on stayed on till I was done. Overall very happy with the purchase. Hopefully the new blade last as long as the original which honestly how long I've owned my Wahl trimmer.

This also fits the model 9899-100. At first I thought it wasn't going to fit but it did and works fine. It is a bit nosier than the original blade.

This attachment barely fit into the shaver- I had to force it in, as the plastic mouldings are different to the original manufacturer. Also, none of the original plastic hair trimming attachments that go onto the blade fit. Rendered useless but getting a refund is a headache so I’ll just bin it.

Perfect replacement for my Wahl shaver.
