The media could not be loaded. TLDR: Product has the most realistic flame, flicker, color, and light intensity of the five other candles I’ve tried. While pricey, they are the best.These candles are seriously my favorite! I have been on a hunt with over five different brand in just the past three months! These hit the mark in almost every category. The wick is a flat shaped plastic piece that bobbles AND gently twist. These dynamic movements made the candles seem real from any angle. Others I tried only bobbled looking flat from the side and became repetitive. Even 3D wicks ended up with movement hardly noticeable.Another issue I have with previous candles would be the flicker pattern syncing up or becoming repetitive. With these the light organically flickered and fluttered on what you would swear was a real flame!What really knocked these out of the park was the color and intensity of the lights themselves. Compared next to a real candle the difference is nearly indistinguishable. These have the most realistic color and intensity of any candle I have gotten. Not too orange but also not too white and nearly identical in intensity.Other standout features; the feel and look like a real wax candle. No fake plastic housing here. The candles are also well designed. The bottom of the candle locks in sturdily to keep batteries in place. No need to worry about the bottom cap getting stuck in the candle holder.Like the title says: I wish I could give these candles more than five stars. They are exactly what I’ve been on the hunt for! While they are pricey, they are the best I’ve found out there!

I got these Luminara flameless taper candles to use in my fall and Christmas displays. The colors are beautiful - I got the pumpkin, burnt orange, holiday red and green- and perfect for the season! I am impressed with the quality and realism in of these candles. They are so well made and the look and texture is so real, you'll forget it is not a real candle!! It is made of real hand poured paraffin wax- feels like a real candle! And the "flame" really moves and flickers like a real flame on a candle. It has a timer function too, just set it and forget so it turns on at the same time daily for 5hrs and then automatically shuts off for 19hrs. The remote I purchased separately also works on these or they can be manually turned on/off by a button on the bottom. No smoke, burnt kitty tails or wax drips here! It took 2 A batteries and should bring me about 200 hours of safe joy watching it glow and flicker! Plus, they pair beautifully with Luminara taper holders.

I've purchased lots of artificial candles and these are really the best. They are frightfully expensive, though. I bought a (separately sold) remote power control that is supposed to work on all Luminaria candles. It works on the dozen or so that I bought so hopefully will on all. I've decided to replace -- over the course of several years because of the cost -- all my artificial candles with Luminarias if they keep working as well as these have. My other sets typically stop after a year or so, frequently after only a few months or less. I hope the investment pays off.

Product looks good, but battery life is significantly shorter than its larger taper counterpart.

Luminara candles are the best! I have several in my home. Don’t buy the cheaper knock offs because you’re just wasting your money. I’ve got some that I’ve had for several years and they still work perfectly!

I bought these to go in some hurricane lanterns I purchased from Ballard Designs. These are beautiful and look like real candles. The flame looks real. I also purchased the remote control and that works amazing. I will purchase more.

I wanted a ca dem that looks realistic for my daughter to use in her dorm room where no flames are permitted. From the wax on the candle itself to the flickering flame, it looks like the real deal- soft candlelight with no flame.

I ordered several of these candles in different colors, white first set working well red and brown ones stopped working when you push button followed same instructions new batteries, Their seems to be problem with switch they stopped working shortly after i received them Luminara Disappointed in colored ones
