Garbage. They keep on flying away and/or deflating. Zero stars. Don’t waste your money. I never write reviews but I had to let everyone know this is the biggest waste of money in the history of humanity.

Wow—these really work. Before using these inflatable solar pool covers, my pool heater had to run nearly all day just to get the water up to my target temperature of 88°F. Since adding these to the pool at night, they do an excellent job of keeping the heat in as temperatures drop. Now my heater only needs to run for a few hours each morning to bring the pool back up to temp, and after that, the sun plus these covers take care of the rest. The difference in heat retention is immediate and obvious. If you’re trying to reduce heater run time, energy costs, or wear and tear on your pool equipment, these make a big impact—especially when used in combination with a pool heater pump. My only downside was that 2 of the 12 covers I received would not hold air right out of the box. That said, the manufacturer handled it perfectly. I contacted them and they sent two replacement covers at no charge, which says a lot about their customer service and willingness to stand behind the product. The covers also come with vinyl repair patches, which is a nice bonus in case you accidentally puncture one yourself. Overall, these are highly effective, well thought out, and an excellent value. I’d strongly recommend them to anyone looking to keep pool water warm longer and cut down on heater usage.

Blew up nicely. Didn’t have the floating issue many other reviews had. Issue is that these have no solar specific features. By keeping them in during the day they did not raise water temperature at all. Likely lowered it due to blocking sun. If using this only to hold sun in overnight might be useful. But that’s about all. Overall I’m dissatisfied with the purchase as I don’t see any benefit.

Great concept, doesn't stay inflated and ONLY works in 100% direct sunlight. It made a one degree difference from ambient temperature.

They have heated the poor, i think. They raised the temperature of the pool as the outside temperature increased. However, when the outside temperature decreased, so too, did the pool temperature. Water applied to the panels to keep them from flying away in the wind, led to calcium deposits (because of the water here) which are not easily erased. With these in the pool, they also decrease the surface water flow to the skimmer, so they collect leaves, bugs, etc., around them. We have a Creepy/Krauly system which works under the panels. To clean the pool, I have to take the panels out, use a skimmer on a pole to direct all the surface debris to the pool skimmer, brush all the yellow/green algae on the pool under the panels, then vacuum where the Creepy did not get. I believe this yellow/green algae comes from the heat the panels generate. When taking the panels out of the pool, a lot of this yellow/green liquid, which is trapped between the top layer and bottom layer of the panels is released into the pool. But they do heat the pool.

I have a 15x30 above ground pool in Stroudsburg PA. I currently have 14 of these. They are keeping my pool approximately 6° warmer than without them. I had a minor issue with 2 of the units initially. I contacted their Customer Service Department and they sent out replacements the next day. I definitely would buy them again. I will note one thing. They a 5 foot in diameter. You need to consider storage when not in the pool. I built a 5'x5'x2.5' box using 1" PVC Piping. If you use more than 8 you will need 2.

These have been a large waste of money, $550.00; I cannot recommend them for applications like ours. We bought 28 for our 30' diameter pool. The pool heaters lose air or deflate in 1-2 days, making it a real pain to remove especially if they have rainwater in them. Much easier deal with traditional a solid solar cover and cheaper too. I wish I could hope I can these.

3/12 of this order had holes within the seams. We attempted patching but because it’s in the seams they still don’t hold air. I wouldn’t buy this product again
