Costly hype
Slimy not impressed by hype didn’t do much for expense . By accident discovered white vinegar is superior non mess . Its a cleaner so just wipe after zapping midges.

A product that works!
This repeller works really well and the unit is easy to use. I have tried most available mosquito repellers with limited success but I have to admit that once this unit is fired up those mozzies disappear! Two drawbacks - firstly the refills can be pricey, Amazon are competitive but order the large refill pack to save postage; secondly most effective in light airs, the stronger the breeze the quicker the mist from the repeller is blown away. If in doubt place unit upwind so mist is blown to you. Lighting the unit is childs play, seeing the glow from the heating element can be awkward, best fired up indoors before taking out. Recommended as this unit works well, also when in use I have not been bitten! (so far so good!)

I take this on every hike/camping trip. It has worked in Scotland with midge's. It doesn't have a smell. It works well in very low winds.

Keeps mossies at bay.
Only used once so far and definitely got rid of the tiny bity midges we get at this time of year. However, instructions say not to be used while eating or drinking, and that is exactly when you need to be using it.
