Great external storage. Used this for 13 months straight with video editing. Never had a problem. Plug and play for me with my windows pc. I don’t think I ever noticed a heating issue with it so I can’t say it had any problems with cooling or getting too hot in use. I’d recommend this product.

I bought this storage expecting it to be about an iPod Touch sized SSD but it is actually really small. I like how it comes with a cable included but wish it was a USB C to USB C cable rather than a USB C to USB A and a converter to USB-C but I am just nit-picking at this point. The storage comes in FAT32 format making it easy to move files in and out across devices. However, you can optimize for NTFS format for Windows-Only. Additionally, I like how fast it reads and write, making it easy to transfer files and with a lot of archives saved on my computer, I can easily life a lot of storage out from my internal storage to this external storage.

Excellent Value. Comes with Cable, adapter for USBC to USB3. Typically drives deliver 7-10% less formatted capacity than their advertised size, BUT THIS ONE REPORTS 2.13 TB of SPACE for a Drive advertised as 2TB!! How do you beat that ? Excellent Storage Capacity. Does not get hot. And it is noticeably physically smaller than Samsung and SanDisk SSDs. I usually balk at giving 5 stars, because there is always some type of flaw, design if not engineering, but this thing is awesome. I keep looking for an excuse to buy another one.

Never had an issue. Works with my computer easily. It isn’t noisy at all. It doesn’t really make a sound. It connects right away when I plug it in. I never felt that it was hot or overheating. It helps me keep my artwork in another location, in case my computer decides to die. Great for backup.

Compre este ssd con dudas acerca las velocidades ya que tambien tengo la ssd XS 2000 que es mas rápida pero me decidí por la xs1000 para ahorrarme algo de dinero. resulta que fue excelente con las velocidades, no hubo disminución en comparación con la versión mas rápida la xs2000 hice las pruebas de velocidad y fueron exactamente igual alrededor de 800-900 mb/s en ambos ssd y yo tengo la MacBook Air m1, resulta ser que las MacBook tiene puertos thunderbolt 4.0 y usb-c 3.1 esto hace que dispositivos que tengas usb-c 3.2 no pueda aprobechar los 2000 mb/s que en teoría podrían correr si no que solo corre los 1000 mb/s como máximo o salta a Thunderbolt 4.0 asi que en ese caso ambos ssd van con velocidades iguales. si quieres ahorrarte algo de dinero con los XS1000 es mas que suficiente paras los macbook o si quieres ir por lo mas rápido salta a ssd Thunderbolt 4.0.

A tad pricey but you get what you pay for with portable SSD's. I was tempted to buy something cheaper, but I am glad that I didn't. Kingston is a great brand and has an amazing warranty. The drive is fast and does what I need it to do. I render videos directly onto the drive and it works wonders. I would definitely buy again.
