I purchased this dehumidifier in the summer of 2024. I installed the unit in the basement of my house and it performed outstandingly throughout the summer and fall until manually turned it off for the winter...my basement is heated and does not require dehumidifying during the winter months. When spring returned this year my basement began to develop higher humidity and I turned on the dehumidifier again. The unit seemed to turn on and the fan was blowing air however the compressor apparently did not restart. I contacted Vellgoo with my problem via email and we started a "back and forth" trying to troubleshoot the problem and get the dehumidifier working again. True to their stated policy of responding within 12 hours they were quick to react and gave me some suggested procedures to try and reset the unit. When this did not solve the issue Vellgoo asked me for my address and sent me a new unit at no charge. They were fantastic to work with and I am very thankful and impressed with how they handled this situation and stood behind their product. Going forward I would be quite comfortable having any of Vellgoo's products.

I purchased this dehumidifier about a year ago and it worked flawlessly to keep my basement comfortable year round. However, during the last two weeks, I noticed that the humidity level in the basement was more than 10% higher than it usually is. I also noticed that there was no condensation in the clear drainage tube and that the compressor wasn't cutting on. I contacted Vellgoo customer service and got a response in less than an hour! After a couple of days of troubleshooting the issue to no avail, they promptly indicated that they would be sending me a new unit!The new dehumidifier arrived on two days ago and is working great! I like that it has a smaller footprint than other dehumidifiers I've had in the past. It's quite and simple to set up. I opted to use the clear tube to drain the condensation from the machine into my basement sump pump. I am very pleased with the performance of this Vellgoo dehumidifier! And, the company stands behind their product with stellar customer service. This is easily a 5-star product!

The unit looks great and is small. The water container seems less than the 1.4 gal noted.Amazon did a silly thing though. The box for the dehumidifier clearly notes "This Side Up" and "Do not repack".Amazon placed the humidifier box within a larger Amazon box and put nothing in it to make up the difference in space. No crumbled paper, no plastic bubbles, nothing.Of course the driver had no idea which way was supposed to be up--so, my humidifier came upside down.In that I have to let the humidifier sit for 24 hours because it was upside down, I have not been able to try it. so just a three star for now.Now that I have had it for 2 weeks - I have changed my rating to a 5 star. The unit is quiet and does its job in our basement! Love it!

I got this in June of 2024. The unit worked fine all year, but after storing it as per the instructions for the winter, I found this spring that the unit wouldn't pull any water from the air. The unit ran, but the compressor did not come on. Fortunately, the unit has a two year warranty, and the people I dealt with at Vellgoo were extremely helpful and easy to deal with via email. So many reviews of different company's dehumidifiers bemoan how they have become disposable. I suppose my experience with Vellgoo has been similar so far, but I was able to get a replacement unit very promptly, and it has been working fine for over a week now. So I would recommend this company over horror stories I read about other company's lack of support.

I originally purchased this to dehumidifier in the spring of 2024. The unit worked exceptionally well all spring and summer helps make our basement feel comfortable and inviting. Fast-forward to the spring of 2025 I turn the unit on and noticed a few days later that it was no longer working. I contacted VELLGOO customer service and they promptly went through some troubleshooting with me after a few days of emailing back-and-forth it was determined that my unit was in fact faulty, and the customer service rep. I was speaking with named Quincy was prompt and diligent in getting me a replacement a replacement unit was shipped quickly and a few days later I had a brand new working replacement although I had issue with the first unit it was resolved quickly and professionally. Very impressed and will do business with this company in the future.!

I bought this item in May of 2024, it worked perfectly all last year through the summer. I didn't need it over the winter so it sat idle. When I turned it on this year (May of 2025) it powered on but did not remove the humidity. I reached out to the company and within 1 day they replied with a suggested fix. I notified them it did not resolve the issue. The next day they suggested another possible fix, again it did not resolve. The next day they said they would replace the unit at not cost. The new one arrived 2 days later (via Fedex), it works perfectly, humidity down in my basement by 15%! I highly recommend this product and their customer service dept.

I purchased this in August 2023. The unit worked very well and seemed like a very well built unit. A month ago I noticed that even though it was running, it wasn't producing any condensate. I contacted support at [email protected] asking if they had any suggestions. A couple emails back and forth with things to check concluded with it being a failed unit. They shipped me a new unit a few days later and it is working perfectly!I honestly thought that emailing support wasn't going to yield much of a result but was really surprised at how responsive they were. Very happy with the unit and thrilled that they provided painless support. Would definitely buy from them again.
