I am a line cook, and I specialise in seafood. I cut salmon every day at work and wearing a cutting glove is necessary due to health and safety requirements under OSHA. The cloth cutting gloves provided at work are horrible, since my knives are razor sharp and they cut through the fabric, and the cloth gloves are nearly impossible to clean.The stainless steel cutting glove that I purchased here on Amazon is exactly what I need to do my job efficiently, with safety and cleanliness involved. It is an easy glove to place on my hand, and is easy to remove and clean.I recommend this glove to anyone who wishes to stay safe whilst handling a knife in the kitchen.

These gloves came with a paper liner in the middle that was soaked in an oil. This oil had a perfume smell to it that is SO SO SO STRONG. My husband handled the paper before realizingwhere the smell was coming from, now the perfume smell won't come out of his hands. It's disgusting. My counters even smell.I wouldn't normally waste my time on this review, so please understand THAT how BAD this smell was.
