The only Normcore product to skip..
I had really high expectations from a Normcore product but this one is quite lackluster. I have had multiple paint chips, screws fall out and overall the entire knockbox is not good. One of the things I didn’t expect is that closing the used grounds causes mold to appear very quickly compared to an open knockbox. The price is also shockingly high which would only make sense if it was more functional and hardy.

Normcore Espresso Knock Box
Good quality, sturdy soild, metal espresso coffee knock box. It's quite weighty, for such a small box. It's smaller than I had expected it to be. I can fit my electric milk frother on it. It's expensive for £79 though, too pricey for most. However, it works well, and it's exactly as described. The exterior has a rough painted finish.

Espresso knock box
The knock box arrived really well-packaged, with each part securely wrapped to keep the handle and box in perfect condition. The box itself looks high-quality right out of the box, and the American walnut handle adds a nice, stylish touch to the design. It’s compact enough to fit easily under my espresso machine without taking up too much space, which is ideal for smaller kitchens. The handle feels sturdy and smooth, making it easy and comfortable to use without any strain on your hands. The knock bar is just the right firmness to handle the pressure needed to knock out used coffee grounds, so there’s no mess or struggle. It holds a decent amount of grounds before needing to be emptied, which keeps my routine smooth and quick. Overall, it’s a really solid, well-made piece that looks great on the counter and performs exactly as I’d hoped. The excellent packaging and quality design make it feel like a premium addition to any coffee setup, and it’s perfect for coffee enthusiasts who appreciate a bit of elegance with practicality.

Espresso Knock Box – Excellent Build Quality & Heavy Duty
This espresso knock box arrived in a branded cardboard box and was protected with foam padding. The box measures 28cm in length, 14cm in width and 7cm in height which is an ideal size to sit next to my coffee machine and housing my espresso mugs on top. The drawer is made from 304 stainless steel and is white in colour with an American walnut handle – it feels very premium and heavy duty. The espresso knock box has nylon runners which means that it slides open easily and features x6 non slip feet which means it stays in place well whilst protecting your countertops. The metal surface means that it is easy to clean out and the knock bar is very sturdy to knock out your spent ground coffee. Priced at £79 at the time of reviewing, this is an excellent knock box which feels very premium and allows you to store items such as your coffee grinder on top of it as well, saving precious countertop space. It feels like it could last a lifetime and looks very stylish to boot – I would definitely be happy to recommend.

High-Quality Espresso Knock Box
This espresso knock box is very well made and does its job perfectly. I previously had a much simpler espresso knock box which just sat on the counter next to my coffee machine. This knock box is much better. First of all, the shape is a flat drawer, this allows it to sit under your coffee grinder. It isn't super wide as I was going to put it under my coffee machine but my coffee machine was too big to fit on top so I had to put the grinder on top instead. This is still much better than the previous one I had as it saves a lot of space on the counter. When you have made your coffee, you just pull out the drawer, knock the portafilter on the bar in the drawer which knock out the coffee grounds into the box. When the drawer is full, you can just take out the drawer to empty and clean it. The knock box is expensive however it is very well made and high-quality. The materials all feel premium and high-quality and the drawer itself slides very smoothly. Overall, I would recommend this knock box.

Quality product but expensive quality.
I am a bit of a neophyte when it comes to ground coffee but was recently at a friend's and he made me a truly fabulous after dinner espresso. I was intrigued when I watched him vigorously tap out the spent coffee grounds into a rather elegant stainless steel container that had a conveniently placed bar for striking the pod, that contained the grounds, against. The upshot was that I was promised the exact same machine as a Christmas present but advised there was no rush to get the knocker, as he called it, as that was a useful but optional extra. Apparently the knocker is useful because in the making of the coffee a lot of pressure is used to extract the flavour from the ground coffee and so the end result is a tightly compacted puck of spent grounds. Well this knocker gets me one step ahead. I must say that it is well built with a smooth pull out option and a handle that feels good in the hand. I have tired the knocker it at my friends and it worked perfectly well. The puck of grounds came out cleanly and with just one knock. Is it any better or more elegant than my friend's version that cost less than half the price ? I don't really think so. There is one big difference though and that is that his is a bucket type and takes up counter space, this one has a flat top and drawer and the machine that I am getting will sit very nicely on top saving me valuable space on my worktop.

We love this addition to our coffee machine
This is one of those products I didn’t know I needed until I got it. The Normcore Espresso Knock Box has elevated my home coffee setup. The design is sleek and stylish, especially with the genuine American walnut handle and the crisp white finish. It fits perfectly under my grinder, saving counter space, and the non-slip base ensures it stays put. The removable knock bar makes cleaning up easy, and the 304 stainless steel construction feels durable and very high-quality. It is very satisfying to use, and it adds a professional touch to my espresso and coffee making experience. I didn’t realise how much I needed a dedicated knock box, but now that I have it, I can’t imagine my coffee-making process without it. If you’re a coffee lover, this is a must-have accessory.

Looks good, but good have been better functionally
Looks good, but could have been improved functionally. First of all the wood handle came with no finish on it which is far from great since you will end-up passing over it regularly with your portafilter and old drippy espresso puck. Secondly, it doesn't have enough air vents to allow steam to escape and air to circulate to avoid mold. Multiple times I have noticed water pulling underneath due to condensation from the steam on the metal casing. Leaving the drawer partly opened for a coue minutes after adding a puck helps, but we shouldn't have to do that for something adverised as a premium product

Damaged in box
Srawer handle has no finish and feels rough. Also it doesn’t open smoothly and has scratch marks out of the box - paint chipped off at three different places. I saw there are other negative comments about this with photos but just now when I opened the review section. Guess I should check reviews beforehand. Not happy with quality overall

Beautiful, thoughtful design, but paint scratches
It’s exactly what I needed for my small space espresso station, and it’s the perfect size and color to blend seamlessly with the Fellow Opus grinder. The drawer functionality is very smooth, and the entire drawer pulls out for easy cleaning. The rubber part is also easy to pluck off with a little bit of strength. The only issue is the paint scratches on the top edge of the drawer. I noticed this issue in other reviews too, so I don’t know if requesting a replacement will actually help. It must be something abouts the design or packaging causing the edges to scrape

Durable nice looking knock box space efficient
Nice coating not easily scratched. Strong and stable enough to cary varia vs6. I wish it had a better drawer roller instead of just a plastic slider in it. And very space efficient! Hopefully more colors for the handle option
