I have fine, bleach processed hair so I'm always looking for ways to be better with my hair. With this tool I'm not using heat twice on my hair. It blow dries and straightens my hair at the same time. You can use this as a blow dryer without straightening if you want which is a nice option. It gives my hair a nice sleek straight look not to mention the shine quality it adds. With fine hair I have to be careful with blow dyers because they can cause breakage due to the erratic motion. This however guides the hair and keeps it from getting tangled and breaking. I'm a lefty so it took a few tries to make sure I had it positioned right. It is a tad heavy and takes getting used to holding it because it's bulkier than a normal straightener. I also know this piece is on the higher side and not everyone can justify. For me, it's been a great addition and I can tell a difference in my hair for sure. If you have finer hair or your trying to reverse some damage to your hair I would recommend this tool!

Received July 3rd and stopped working August 29th. Shut off while I was using and a red triangle came up with a red exclamation point and then flashed to a QR code that said contact Dyson. I had registered product thru Dyson but was told by them that the warranty was only honored thru authorized resellers. The return window thru Amazon was August 2nd.

I’ve been using this straightener for a few months and I love how quickly it smooths and straightens my hair. It definitely saves time and leaves my hair sleek without the need for high heat, which is amazing.The only thing I wish it had is the ability to shape the ends of my hair. It leaves them straight down, a bit too flat, and I’d love an option to curve them inward for a more polished finish.Still, it’s a powerful tool and I’d absolutely recommend it for quick, effective straightening — especially for anyone who wants to minimize heat damage.

My daughter is biracial and has very thick curly hair. Wasn’t sure if this was going to work. OMG it looks like she used a flat iron!! It has cut her time in less than half what she used to have to do. She LOVES it!! I tried it today and I have wavy hair and it took me less than 5 minutes to dry and straighten my hair.
