how to format the disc to use with mac?

1.Plug the StoreJet 25 into an available USB port on your MAC computer.2. Unplug all other external storage devices from your computer. This is to prevent accidental format of a different drive.3. If a message window appears, Click the "Initialize" button. If no message appears, open "Disk Utility" under "Applications > Utilities " 4. In the Disk Utility window, choose your StoreJet from the list on the left. 5. Select the "Erase" tab.6. Choose the Volume Format you want (Mac OS Extended (journaled) is recommended).

Does this Transcend external drive work with WinXP and 2.O USB?

Yes. Fully compatible. I use with USB 2.0 and 3.0 and with XP, Vista and Win 7. And with Win 8.1 - I hadn't previously connected to my tablet, but, having just tested it to answer the question, it works fine.

Is this product compatible with a PS3?

Yes the Transcend models are all compatible with PS3/4 . My son and my wife use them on their PS4's with no problem. Just one tip only use the supplied lead and not any extension as they don't always like extension leads. Hope this helps.
