Beautiful blanket - but I haven't noticed any difference yet
To be fair, it is a beautiful blanket. Soft, silky and quite large. But on it's own, that makes this a very expensive blanket, coming in at £89.99. I figured at that price, I would perhaps feel a little difference.I have chronic pain in my lower back and pelvis, and sleep is always an issue. This being a blanket that I have on all night, I thought I'd give it a go.The grey outer layer, is beautifully soft but sadly, the inside part, the part against my skin isn't particularly soft. It says it's cotton so maybe it will soften up after a couple of washes. The instructions say it's washable at low temperatures. At just under 80 inches it really is for one person, not for two.The power cable feels stiff and is made of thin cable and comes with a UK which you plug into. There are two places you can plug it in on the plug, and there's nothing to say which one to use or whether there's a difference. It is pretty long though which is useful. Due to the quality of the cable, I haven't used it overnight as I thought I would, as the cable doesn't inspire confidence. Most importantly though, I haven't noticed any difference in my sleep pattern, pain levels or comfort. I will keep using it for naps and as a cover when watching telly but that is more difficult in the winter as it says it should be against bare skin and it's winter. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and I've no idea how long it's supposed to be before I notice any difference but I'll keep going.Overall, fairly disappointing for just under £90.

Not sure if its a gimmick
The first thing I have to say is that I went into this with an open mind, that the currents would put out a magnetic field that should hopefully ease aches and pains and that it would be a better way to deal with things rather than painkillers, in a similar way that the Tens Unit does it but without having to have the power at a high level. Now the first thing that did make me a bit wary was that it connects to the main socket of the house, something I've always been a bit scared of since the old tv ads about electric blankets but my thinking went along the lines of "well as long as i'm not sleeping, it should be OK". So I gave it a go.So far after a couple of weeks I have to say that Im not noticing any difference personally and that I suspect its more of a gimmick, tapping in to the new age side of things where people look at things positively and that is more of a placebo than any real use. That said, it does look nice, it is a warm cover and the stitching does seem to be strong. However, and this is the kicker, the price is a major flaw for me. At nearly £100 I have not had what I would expect from it and if you suffer from pains like your lower back, I've often found that there is nothing better than a tens unit to help relieve that. All round it could be a good idea, however for future improvements I would perhaps suggest a rechargeable battery so that the user doesn't have the worry about wall sockets being left on whilst sleeping.
