The large knife is DANGEROUS
The two small knives in this set are OK. Both sharp and the serrated one is good for getting through tough skins.The large bread/carving knife is extremely sharp and extremely dangerous. The blades cut well. However if, like me, you have a tendency to put your hand over the knife to keep the sliced off portion in place until the cut is finished - YOU WILL CUT YOUR HAND BADLY.I know purists will say you should not do this and I should be aware that there is a blade on the top and bottom. But this is the only knife I have with the problem and the fact it is double sided was not clear from the description or the small image.Sadly, my wife also did the same thing and immediately disposed of the knife before I could return it. My advice is to get a bread knife and/or a serrated carving knife individually so that you will not have the dangers inherent with a double sided knife.
